Piper's POV
After my release from the academy I set myself out on a mission to find everyone. I don't exactly know how but I'm going to do it. After everything this academy has put me through, I want revenge, and I know the others will help.

The academy has us under a strict policy. Once we graduate, we must become a soldier who hunts and kills their enemies. My target is a vampire, he was last seen at a pub in LA.

As I entered the pub I thought I saw a few familiar faces, however it is probably an illusion because I've been seeing a lot of things over the past few years.

"Piper is that you?" I turned around and came face to face with Wren. Part of me had hope that it really was her, but I needed to make sure. "If it really is you, tell me something only Wren would know about me."

"You slept with your thumb in your mouth until sixth grade." I cringed at the memory of her finding that out but I couldn't help but smile because I knew it was her. I grabbed her and pulled her into a tight hug.

"Can't...Breathe!" I quickly let go and mumbled sorry. Truth is I didn't wanna let go. She's the closest thing I have to family, they all are. "I thought I would never see you guys again! Why are you here?"

"We are a team. They chose us to kill together. Twisted isn't it?" I turned my head to see Kyle. My jaw immediately dropped. The Kyle I knew was positive and nerdy, this one was cold and stern. What the hell happened in these six years?

"Not really. I missed you all so much." I hugged Nick and went to hug Kyle but he stopped me. "We should go find Beth and Gray while it's still light out." He walked away without another word. I couldn't help but feel upset, after all he was my boyfriend before everything happened.

"Don't worry, it's not you. It's just his time of the month." Wren jokes, slinging an arm around me. We walked out of the pub and started making our way back to the hotel they are staying at. It was silent. Nobody looked at each other. Nobody said anything.

I was the one to break the silence. "Look, whatever happened in the past six years was probably traumatizing for all of us. But we're here together and that's all that matters."

"Great not we can throw a parade!" Kyle replied sarcastically, I glared at him. "Look I don't know what your problem is, but you do not have a right to act like you're the shit and be rude to me. We're supposed to be a family."

"Family? That's funny considering that we can't even find the other two. We are not a family. Our real families think we're dead meanwhile we're right in front of them. It's time to stop hiding and face reality Pipes!" Kyle brushed past me and stormed out of the room.

"What the fuck is his problem?!" I grunt angrily, the both of them shrug. "We all went through a lot at the academy. Based on how dead and bitter he is I'm guessing he went through the most. You two had chemistry, but six years can change a lot of things-"

"That's easy for you to say Nick. You and Wren are practically meant for each other and how much do you wanna bet that Beth and Gray are boning each other too? Love is not my thing, and it's obviously not Kyle's either. So fuck feelings, I'm going to the bar." I stormed out angrily and headed to the nearest club. Since we are basically invisible to the human race, I just walked right in and started pouring drinks for myself.

"I'll take one of those bartender." I looked up to see Grayson. He still looks the same but he has a beard now. I basically jumped over the counter and hugged him.

"Where's Beth?" I figured since they both were considered werewolves they might have been locked up in the same part of the academy. "She's over there sitting down. She's going to be so happy to see you."
