Dahlia
I giggled to myself as I felt Jackson's arousal wash over me. Walking over to where the girls were sitting I noticed two unfamiliar faces. "Dahlia, meet Brianna and her sister Chloe" Kallee said pointing to the girls. "Hi" I waved. Chloe was beautiful, tall and super model thin with warm honey colored hair, she looked to be the same age as me. She smiled brightly "It's really nice to meet you" Chole said extending her hand. "You too" I smiled and looked over to the other girl. She looked younger, no older than fifteen. She had the same honey hair and thin body "Hi Brianna" I held my hand out to her. "Hey" she said grinning.
"So where did you guys live before here?" I asked taking a seat next to Chloe. "New York" My eyes widened in shock "Wow! What a change" I chuckled. She rolled her eyes and smiled "You have no idea!" she said shaking her head. "Can I ask why you guys came here?" I asked hoping I didn't sound too nosey. Chloe blushed slightly and started playing with her hands in her lap. "Well, my dad wants me to mate" she said sheepishly. I couldn't help but laugh "Well you sure traveled far for that!" Chloe laughed "You're telling me!" I could hear the guys coming over as they laughed and pushed each other playfully. "Well who do we have here?" Conner said over my shoulder smiling widely at Chloe. Instantly her cheeks turned a deep red as she stared at him. "Conner this is Chloe, Chloe this strapping gentleman is Conner" I giggled. "Hey" Conner said.
I turned my head at him questioning his sudden lack in smooth words. I was surprised to see he had a confused look on his face as his eyes ran over Chloe's face. The two of them continued to sit and stare at each other. "I'm gonna go get some..." I trailed off as I realized that neither of them was paying attention. I tried to stifle my laugh as I stood from my seat and walked to the other end of the table where Amy and Kallee were. "Check that out" I said nodding my head towards Chloe and Conner. He had taken my seat and was still just staring at her. "Well I'll be damned..." Amy whispered with a sly smirk. I giggled and nodded my head. It looks like Conner may have found the one. "I cannot wait to give him shit" Jake said as Travis nodded in agreement. I noticed Colton walk over to Brianna and take her hand leading her towards his friends. I couldn't help but smile at how cute they looked together.
"So was it as bad as you thought it was going to be?" Kallee asked. I rolled my eyes and shook my head; I don't know why I was so nervous. The pack was more than happy to welcome my family to their pack, and to be honest I couldn't think of better pack to join. Looking around I noticed everyone was smiling and laughing, they all seem so happy.
"Has anyone seen my dad or Xavier?" I asked glancing around. I haven't seen either of them since Jax went inside. As soon as I thought his name my wolf whined inside me and I couldn't help but agree we missed our mate. "I think your dad went in with Alpha" Jake said. "What are they doing in there?" I asked trying not to sound quite so desperate to have Jax back. "Don't worry he'll be back in a minute" Travis said giving me a knowing smile. I smiled at him as my cheeks turned pink, it must be more obvious than I thought. With each minute Jax was away from me felt like hours, I needed his touch and comforting scent. "It's hard isn't it?" Kallee said placing her hand on my arm giving me a warm smile. "He's only been gone for thirty minutes, but I miss him so much" I said sheepishly. "He's your mate of course you do" Kallee said reassuringly. "Just wait till they have to travel to national pack meetings. Although, you'll probably get to go with miss mated to the soon-to-be Aplha" Amy teased.
I never thought about that. I knew Jax's father was Alpha, but I never actually considered the fact that one day Jax will be the alpha of this pack. Even though the thought was somewhat overwhelming, it was also a turn on. My mate will be the Alpha of an entire pack. My wolf was buzzing with excitement and I couldn't help but smile myself. "What are you thinking about" whispered a velvety voice sending shivers down my spine and making my eyes close as Jax's intoxicating scent washed over me. Jax nuzzled his face in my neck inhaling deeply making my whole body burn with desire. I had to suppress the moan that threatened to break out as his hands lightly trailed down my arms. "God you smell absolutely mouth watering" he said huskily as his warm breath tickled my neck.
