I opened my eyes and was confused for a moment before the warmth from my mates naked body brought me back to reality. I looked over to see Dahlia curled into my side quietly purring in her sleep. I couldn't help but feel a surge of pride that this was my mate. This beautiful woman with her long tan leg and arm thrown over me, her blond hair spilled around her, and her pouty pink lips pulled up at the corners was mine. She was my mate, my everything, and I just couldn't get enough of her. We laid there in the soft grass of the meadow last night, staring at the sky talking about our lives getting to know each other more. I was absolutely fascinated with her. My heart race picked up as the image of her standing in front of me completely naked. I knew she was beautiful, but the sight of her standing there with such confidence was beyond words. I leaned down and lightly brushed my lips against hers. She smiled against my lips. "Hey" I whispered once she opened her eyes. "Hi" she replied just as softly. I caressed my fingers across her jaw enjoying the softness of her skin. She stretched her arms above her head pushing her breast out. I gulped and squeezed my eyes closed not trusting myself to not stare. I heard her giggle and put her arms back around me. "You can open your eyes now" she whispered in my ear. My body shivered as electric tingles shot through me. I opened my eyes to see Dahlia staring back at me with an evil grin. I chuckled and shook my head "You are too much" I teased. "Come on, let's go back to the house" she said sitting up. Her long hair fell over her chest covering her round breast. I was thankful that the temptation was hidden, but also annoyed that I didn't get to ogle her perky chest. I sat up as well and turned over, getting on all fours as I quickly shifted. Once my body was covered in fur, I shook myself out and looked over to Dahlia doing the same. I pranced up to her and playfully nipped at her back legs. After chasing each other around the meadow, we slowly headed back to the house. 'Do you want children?' Dahlia asked walking by my side. I thought about it for a moment. 'Yes, do you?' I asked hoping she would as well. 'Of course, how many do you want?' I looked over at her to see her expression 'Two maybe three.' She looked at me with excitement in her eyes; I swear if she was in human form she would be giving me one of her award winning smiles. 'How many would you like?' I asked her. 'Two sounds good' she looked at me. My heart was swelling with the thought of Dahlia being the mother of my children. 'My mom will probably ask for more' I said laughing to myself. My mom has been pressuring me since I was eighteen to give her grandchildren.

As we got to the edge of the yard we separated and went to where our clothes were. I quickly shifted and threw my jeans on and draped my shirt over my shoulders as I walked out into the yard. I still can't believe I have finally found my mate. I can't wait till the introduction ceremony, I know everyone will like her it's kind of hard not to. "What are you thinking about?" Dahlia asked as she wrapped her arms around my waist from behind me. I shivered as warm electric currents vibrated through my body. "The ceremony" I said covering her hands with mine. "Oh" she said. I turned around and wrapped my arms around her "What?" I asked resting my forehead against hers. She sighed "I'm just nervous is all." "Why are you nervous?" I asked. What does she have to be nervous about? Even though our pack is rather large, we are still very close like a large family and I know they will love her. "There's nothing to be nervous about, everyone will love you" I assured her. She stood on her toes and placed a small kiss on my lips. I stood there holding her in my arms listening to the world begin to wake up. The sun still hadn't come up but the birds were beginning to chirp. "Let's go get cleaned up, I'm sure my mom is going to want your help planning the ceremony" I said in a hushed voice not wanting to ruin the peaceful dawn. Dahlia sighed and nodded her head.

"Why you..." I laughed as I stood there in shock. After showering and putting clean clothes on Dahlia and I decided to make breakfast for everyone. She was showing me how to make homemade biscuits but I was too distracted by her to pay attention. After she had asked for the third time to get her some eggs and I still hadn't let go of her waist so she turned around and flicked flour all over my chest. Dahlia began laughing at me so I took a handful and threw it at her back. She quickly quit laughing and looked at me with wide eyes. "I can't believe you did that!" she said with fake anger. I smirked and backed away. She twisted around trying to wipe it off her black shirt. "I just put clean clothes on" she whined. I rolled my eyes and walked back over to her to help her wipe it off. As soon as I touched her she turned around and dumped a handful of flour on top of my head. She laughed holding her sides and slowly backed away from me. "Come here" I growled playfully as I grabbed the bag of flour and slowly walked towards her. She shook her head still laughing as she backed away from me. "Oh come on, just come here" I taunted grinning evilly. Dahlia backed up to the fridge, her eyes growing large as she realized she couldn't go anywhere "Please Jackson, truce?" she said giving me a sweet smile. I smiled back and closed the space between us and kissed her lightly as I dumped a handful of flour over her head. She smiled against my lips and reached for the bag. I held it above her head "Truce" I said chuckling at the pout she gave me. I quickly kissed her lips and went to pull away but Dahlia grabbed the collar of my shirt and pulled me closer to her. She sucked my bottom lip into her mouth and ran her soft tongue along it. I moaned and wrapped arms around her pressing her body into mine. Lightly she bit down on my lip causing my control to slip, my wolf took over and I slammed her body up against the fridge. I slid my hand down to her ass and squeezed the handful of pure perfection making Dahlia groan with delight. "What the hell happened in..." my brother's voice startled both of us. I quickly let go of Dahlia and turned to see my brother standing in the doorway staring at us with shock. "We're making breakfast" I said walking back over to the counter. "Yeah, it looked like you were getting ready to make something and it definitely was not breakfast" Colton said as he walked over to the island trying not to walk through the flour. I laughed and looked over to Dahlia who was now digging through the fridge. "You better clean this up before mom sees it" Colt said waving his hand towards the flour cover counter and floor. I nodded still laughing to myself. I went to the pantry and grabbed the broom and started sweeping the floor.

"Are you hungry Colton?" Dahlia asked placing eggs and sausage on the counter. "Yeah, I'll have what Jackson just had" he said with a smirk. I walked over and smacked the back of his head. "Hey, it was worth a try" Colton said getting a giggle out of Dahlia. After sweeping the floor and wiping the counters off I sat next to Colton at the island and watched Dahlia make breakfast. "Mmm smells wonderful" my mom said joining us. "Good morning" Colton, Dahlia, and I all said at the same time. My mom laughed and turned the coffee pot on. "Do I even want to know why you and Dahlia are covered in flour?" she asked looking at me with her eyebrow raised. "I was trying to teach Jax how to make biscuits and he started throwing flour on me" Dahlia said winking at me. "Jackson?" mom questioned. I rolled my eyes and stuck my tongue out at Dahlia "Don't play the innocent one here" I said pointing a finger at her. She scoffed "But I am" she said in a sweet voice. "You are what?" Xavier asked walking in. "I am the innocent one" Dahlia said. Xavier laughed "You are never the innocent one Dolly. What did she do this time?" he asked sitting next to me. Wow, he's actually talking to me without Dahlia making him. I smiled "She threw flour at me" I said winking at Dahlia. She rolled her eyes and continued making breakfast. "You're lucky that was all" Xavier said taking the coffee my mom sat in front of him. She offered me a cup and I accepted gladly. "I remember we were staying with this one family in Kansas and she was trying to get me out of bed and I told her if she made breakfast that I would. So of course she goes and makes food, but I still wouldn't get up. So next thing I know, Dahlia is rubbing the pancakes and syrup all over me and my bed, one thing led to another, and well let's just say we had to replace the mattress" Xavier said. Dahlia laughed "I remember that, Dad was so mad. It took us an entire day to get that syrup off all the furniture and walls" she said smiling widely at Xavier.

"That was wonderful!" Dad said leaning back in his chair. "Yeah, Dolly thanks" Ed said smiling at Dahlia. I rested my arm across the back of her chair and kissed her cheek. "You're welcome" she smiled at everyone. "You ready for school Colt?" my mom asked him as she started gathering plates. "Yeah, just gotta brush my teeth real quick" he said pushing his seat back. "You want to go with me to take him?" I asked Dahlia. "Yeah, I have to change first" she said looking down at her flour covered shirt. "Me too" I laughed and pulled her up from her chair. I grabbed her hand as we walked towards the stairs. I felt like I was high I was so happy. For four years I have been waiting for Dahlia and now that I have her I'm just so ecstatic I can't keep a smile off my face. I squeezed her hand before letting go so she could go to her room to change. I walked into my room and went in my closet to grab a shirt. As I was digging through my dresser my phone started ringing. "Hello" I greeted pulling a black t-shirt out. "Hey Jax, what are you doing?" Travis asked. "Getting ready to take Colt to school, why what's up" I asked as I pulled my flour covered shirt off. "Amy and Kallee wanted to meet Dahlia, so I was wondering if you guys wanted to meet up with us for lunch?" he asked. I pulled the clean shirt over my head "Sounds good, how about we meet in town at 12" I said as I grabbed my shoes. "Cool, I'll call Conner and let him know. See you later" he said before hanging up.

I slipped my shoes on and stood up straightening my clothes. I looked up and saw Dahlia leaning against the door way. She had changed into a tight white shirt with a long gray sweater. Her hair was pinned back on the top so you could see her face. She smiled when she saw me check her out. She twirled around showing off her outfit. I laughed "You look amazing" I said walking over to her. "You look pretty scrumptious yourself" she said wrapping her arms around my neck. Instantly our lips found each other as our eyes closed. I simply can't get enough of her. The way she smells, the way she tastes, they way her body feels in my arms, it's bliss. I rested my hands on her hips rubbing the tiny amount of skin exposed from her lifting her arms. Her small fingers found their way to my hair and delicately she twisted it around her fingers. As her tongue slipped into my mouth I could feel my wolf begging to do more than just kiss her. Dahlia pulled away and sighed "You taste so good" she said and immediately covered her mouth. I laughed as she blushed deeply and put her other hand over her mouth. "God I can't believe I just said that out load" she groaned. "It's okay, it's not as half as bad as what I was thinking" I said pulling her back to me. She looked at me and raised her eyebrow "What were you thinking?" she asked. "You don't want to know" I chuckled. "Tell me" she asked pouting. I couldn't help but to stare out her full lips that were now sticking out begging to be sucked on. I put my hand on the back of her head and brought her lips to mine, sucking her full bottom lip into my mouth. I ran my tongue along it tasting her then grazed my teeth along it. Just as quickly as I did it I released her mouth and smirked at her. "Come on we have to take Colton to school" I said pulling her out of my room.
