Chapter Twenty Seven

"Well if you're free one week maybe we can have a girls night or something. Mani and Pedi, shopping, out to eat. Just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you have to stay in the house all the time. This is the time to pamper and treat yourself" I smiled and surprisingly she returned it nodding.

"Yeah... we can do that. That would be great, thank you" she whispered out and I smiled nodding. I just wanted to be the person I wish I had at the beginning with me. The time where I was a mess, not sure what I wanted to do, alone and unstable. I wish I had someone with me telling me it would be okay.

I hid it as long as I could tell my mother noticed. Part of being the daughter of an OBGYN.

Our conversation just kind of lingered on random topics like hobbies, celebs, politics and news till people started leaving the table and we started cleaning up. It kind of surprised us that we had so much in common. Me an artist and she liked photography.

Once we were practically finished, she was ready to head home. Harry brought her jacket out but, I walked her to her car as we just rambled on towards it. Once we stopped, she looked over to me smiling "Thank you for inviting me, I know it wasn't ideal but still thank you. And thank you for everything you've done"

"Not a problem. I'm serious, whenever you're free to let me know, I never have a problem taking a day to pamper myself and you shouldn't either" she smiled looking down as she quickly went through her purse taking out a small envelope passing it to me.

"Of course... can you do me a favor though? Could you please give this to Harry when you can. It's just a note apologizing. I don't think I can really say them to his face but, I rather Let him know there is no bad blood between us. I just want peace." she whispered and I gave her small smile nodding. We wanted the same, peace and happiness with whatever life was going to give us.

"Thank you again for inviting me, I really appreciate it" she whispered and I nodded as she came in for a surprising hug. I froze for a second but returned it squeezing her tight. She pulled away and got in her car as I walked back into the yard.

As I walked towards the front door, it opened showing a happy Harry. I don't know if he just was in a good mood or he had been drinking a bit with the men. I still smiled meeting him halfway. He pulled me in quickly kissing my head.

"Today went so much better than expected honestly" he whispered making me laugh nodding. "Yeah I was kind of nervous but, we handled it" "No you handled it and I can't thank you enough Ren. I don't know what I would do without you, just keep coming with a life jacket when my head is about to go under. I love you so much" he whispered making me smiled looking up at him.

"I'll always be your lifeguard" I joked making him laugh even harder holding me tighter swaying a bit. "I love you Harry" "I love you too. Mom said she'll keep Gabby if we want, maybe I can make it up to you tonight" he whispered in a deeper tone making we thinking for a few second.

"We can do that tomorrow. All I want to do is take a hot shower and get in bed right now" he whined making me giggle. "So shower together and some lazy sex?" "Shower and bed" "Come on it will be quick. You don't have to do anything but lay there" I laughed trying to pull away but he wouldn't let me go.

Of course, I was always ready for some alone time with him but, I loved messing with him.

"Fine that's all I'm going to do, no tricks tonight" "Why not?" he groaned laughing. "I'm tired" "Look all I need you to do is that thing with you mo-" "Harry, were heading out. It was great to see you and your family" his aunt said cutting him off instantly.

I pulled away laughing and looking over to them smiling. I nodded as they walked over to us giving us hugs and heading out.

Once they were far away Harry was coming back but, I stopped him shaking my head. "How much have you had to drink?" "Enough to where i'm ready to bring you up to my old room and make a baby" he simply stated as I sighed shaking my head. Didn't expect that.

"Let's head home, and this is for you" I whispered out passing him the envelope. He looked confused looking at it then me. "It's from Amber, she asked me to give it to you. Wants to make amends" smiled as he looked at it for a few seconds then back up at me.

"Let's get inside" he whispered opening the door and letting me go inside first. I could tell he was a bit anxious to read it, hell I was too but, I guess it was just something for later. As we walked into the living room Eve had Gabby in her arms and she was passed out. I giggled walking over to her as Eve shook her head.

"Don't start with me, this is my baby and if she wants to go to sleep in my arms, she can" Eve growled and I shook my head saying nothing. "And that's why she's spoiled" Harry muttered walking past us shaking his head.

"Heading out?" she asked and I nodded. "Yeah it's getting late and I'm tired" "I can take her for the night if you want" Eve offered smiled and I nodded shrugging. "Yeah if it's okay with you. We'll come pick her up in the morning" I said as Harry came back with her jackets and my bag.

"Thank you. Thank you for having us and having her for the night" "No problem mi hija. I need my shopping and mani and pedi buddy anyway" she smiled looking down at Gabby. I smiled looking at Harry "Ready?" he asked and I nodded as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Well see you all tomorrow" Harry called out as we walked out.

I know we kind of had plans once we got home but, now the tiredness was taking a toll on me. I could barely keep my eyes open on the way home. Harry had to wake me up to get out of the car and I quickly made it to the door ready to collapse on the bed and that I did.

Until Harry yelled my name in a serious tone instantly making my heart drop and all tiredness disappear. I got as he rushed into the room face bright red, veins popping out of his neck as he held a paper in his hand and his phone in the other dialing someone's number.

"What's wrong?" I asked as he ended the call and tried again. He passed the paper and I instantly realized it was Ambers letter. What the fuck was going on.

Don't really know how to start this but, I just want to thank you personally for how you've helped with this after finding out. You and Lauryn. You two have been great with all of this from the start and I'm so happy you two are finally together and completely happy. You are finally able to be a complete family and I don't want to interfere with it at all.

I've been thinking for a while about this and I think it would be best to give you and Lauryn a chance at your happily ever after. As a family. I'm sorry for doing it like this but, I think it is for the best if I leave. So this is goodbye and I wish you three nothing but the absolute best.
