Harry and Gabby continued talking as my focus went to the TV but occasionally joined in on the conversation. For a bit they went back and forth until she wanted to show us something. She disappeared into her room as his grip tightened around me.
He kissed my head making me giggle looking up at him as he gave me a small smile. "You okay?" he asked and I nodded smiling. "Yeah I'm fine" "You sure? You've been quiet" he stated making me laugh a bit.
"You two were having a conversation, I was trying to figure whose more stubborn you or your daughter" He chuckled shaking his head as both his arms wrapped around me. Our eyes stayed locked on each other in silence but, an intense feeling rising.
He pressed his lips to mine quickly "Your daughter" he whispered making me laugh shaking my head.
He kissed my head gently pulling me closer. "I know this isn't the easiest thing to be dealing with but, I just have to thank you for...sticking by me. I know my reaction to it all was bad but, thank you. This not how we are supposed to be dealing with righ-" I covered his mouth smiling and shaking my head.
"Shut up. It's a ... difficult situation but, we are still good. We are together and will deal with it together. Just because we have a little hiccup in the road doesn't stop anything for us Harry. I love you and that's it. Done" I stated and he sighed nodding looking down.
"Done" he whispered as I rested my head on his chest and Gabby ran out of her room and back to us with pictures smiling.
"I don't know how you'll feel about this but, I just want to ask you about this... Amber doesn't have any family over here and she can't travel-" "Invite her" I said making him instantly shut up. He looked at me confused on what to say.
Honestly, she's been on my mind for days and I wanted to see if she could come but, I didn't want to push it. They were fine with each other but, that could be a lot for them especially with the dinner being at his family's house. But, just throwing the invitation out there was for the best right?
Since my parents worked most of the time, Eve and Harry's father just invited us over and for them to grab a plate. Didn't even have a choice might I add.
"We don't have to invite her if you-" "No it's fine. I want her to come anyway" I instantly said smiling. I wanted to see how she was doing anyway. All he says is she's good but, I wanted to see her myself. Wanted to try an talk to her so let her know, there are no negative feelings.
He sat up smiling looking at me "Only thing is, I might need some help with my mother. She won't be mean but she can't hide her true feelings from anyone. Just please try to keep them away from each other if you do see them in the same are" he whispered out and I nodded out as he got up walking over to Gabby looking at the picture.
"We'll be fine... things always have a way of working out. You should know that by now babe" I stated looking back at him. I showed him the drawn picture of us three and he got up walking over to hold it smiling. He looked at Gabby then me smiling nodding.
Harry thought that this would mess us up but if anything, it made us stronger. It was us three with a few additions to our extended family. All that mattered was, we were good. On the best terms and ready for anything heading our way.
Thanksgiving Day
"Mommy can I get some juice" Gabby asked pulling my dress as I set the table. I nodded "Yes, just give me a second baby" I smiled looking down at her as she nodded smiling back. "Are grandma and grandpa coming?" she asked and I nodded.
