'You'll never know what you can do until you stop being nervous and allow yourself to try.'

LOGAN'S P.O.V:

I parked my bike in the nearly empty parking lot. I didn't notice how big this place is until right now. The last time I came here, this place was fully crowded. I noticed Nora's bike parked a little ahead. I still can't believe she rides this beauty. Getting off, I took off my helmet and hung it on my bike. I walked towards the main entrance and placed my palm over my eyes to avoid the harsh rays of the sun reach me. I saw Nora standing there with her arms folded. She was using her mobile and didn't notice me arriving.

I cleared my throat and she looked up to give me an annoying look.

"Finally!", She muttered. Turning around, she started walking after placing her phone in the pocket of her hoodie. How is she even alive in that outfit. It's scorching hot.

I catched up with her and said, "Good morning to you too."

"My mornings are never good.", she said in a monotonous tone.

I kept my fingers in my chin and pretended to think, "Hmm..Let me guess, your alarm didn't go off?"

"No."

"You slept late?"

"No."

"You didn't eat breakfast?"

She gave me an incredulous look.

"No!", she exclaimed.

"Nightmares?"

I saw her stiffen besides me.

Nightmares it is.

Her face looked pale now. She looked like she could pass out any minute now. I touched her shoulders and made her face me.

"Hey! You all right?", I asked concern lacing my voice. She didn't say anything, just stared at me. Her eyes held so many emotions I couldn't pin point any one. Fear, Anger, Hatred, what was it?

"Nora?", I called her again. This made her come out of whatever trance she was in and her eyes turned cold again. As if those emotions were never there. I didn't know what to do so I did what I found appropriate.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know this was some sensiti.."

"It's okay!", she cut me off. "I don't want to talk about it. Let's go now, we're already late."

She resumed walking while I silently followed her. The place was eerily quiet with only the sounds of our footsteps being heard.

I couldn't help but wonder about this girl walking ahead of me. Her personality is so different. One moment she is smiling while the other moment she is pissed off. Is she bipolar or something? Only God knows what goes on in her mind all the time.

Recalling yesterday's event, I don't remember her being in a foul mood or me doing something to piss her off. She looked so calm yesterday as if she had no care in the world. We even had a great time eating pancakes and chatting together.

One thing I'm sure is that her mood has gotten to do something with her nightmares. I didn't mean to pry in her personal life or something. But who's going to explain it to her now.

I looked at the path we're going and realized that I've seen this place before. It's the same place where I found out Nora's secret. We entered the room and I couldn't help but notice how small this place was.

Were we going to work out here?

Nora walked further and opened a door at the far end of the room. I didn't notice it before. She disappeared behind the door. I walked inside and my eyes widened. My jaw dropped at the sight in front of me.

It was a gym. Not just that. It was huge, definitely not what I expected. I looked around to see all the equipments present. I was quite impressed. Usually gyms are filled with the stench of sweat and the noise of the machines working in the background. But this was different. It was surprisingly clean and not to forget, silent too. Infact, it was dead silent. It felt like no life existed here.  Silence surrounded us. After a moment, Nora cleared her throat to gain my attention.

"This is our personal gym. You'll be working out here, with me.", she said way too quickly for me to catch up with her. It took me a moment to figure out what she was speaking.

"Oh okay!", I said and nodded my head.

I stuffed my hands in my pockets and looked around once again before settling my eyes on Nora. She seemed a little uncomfortable.

"Is everything alright?", I couldn't stop myself from asking.

She raised her eyebrows but nodded rather enthusiastically, "Yes! Yes! Everything's fine. Everything's perfect.", she murmured the last part as if convincing herself more than me.

I shook my head and asked, "Seriously, what's wrong?"

"N-nothing.. I'm alright. Why would you say that?"

"You're constantly fidgeting with the hem of your hoodie.", I stated while pointing towards her hands.

She looked down and released the cloth that she was holding tightly and rubbed her palms on it. I raised my eyebrows and she sighed.
She rubbed her palms across her face and said, "It's just that.. I've never had anyone here before. It's kind of weird you know? To have some other person in here. I'm not used to working out with some one else."

I hummed in understanding. Who knew Nora could be nervous?

After a moment of awkward silence, I asked, "So.. do you want me to leave?"

"What? No! I didn't mean it that way!", she exclaimed.

"Okay...", I dragged along. "Who's your coach? Who's going to train us?"

"Well, Uncle Tom usually trains me but most of the time I'm on my own.", she shrugged.

"Okay! Enough of the serious talking. Let's get to work. We only have two months to train you properly. We don't want you knocked out on the first blow now, do we?", she asked rhetorically.

"Hey!" I exclaimed. "That's not right okay? I've never lost against anyone."

She folded her arms and said, "How many times do I have to remind you jerk?"

"Okay fine! You were the first and the last. I'm not losing again.", I challenged.

She smirked, "Let's see."

I rolled my eyes. Seems like she's not nervous anymore. Old Nora is back!
