Story Brooke

After Mary Margaret left, Alec went into town.

I let out a sigh of relief as he didn't look like he was looking for me anymore.

I stayed in the woods for a bit longer before I fell asleep. I felt drained and empty.

It was about 9:30 pm when I woke up.

I looked up at the stars. They were beautiful. In fact I don't think I've ever even seen stars in Storybrooke.

I sat up, the leaves I was laying on rustled, as some stuck to me. I get up and brush myself off.

I looked out onto the water, the scenery was beautiful.

I step out of the forest, feeling a bit vulnerable out in the open.

I sat down where Alec had sat hours before.

I knew he was watching me, I could feel his eyes staring into the side of my face.

"Are you going to come out or just stare?" I yell loud enough for him to hear.

Soon enough a body plops down next to me.

"Where were you?" He asked after a minute.

"Here," I say, not looking at him.

He sighs, "No you weren't."

"Yes I was," I look at him, "why did you go into town?"

He stares at me for a second but answers, "I told Emma where Graham was."

"Anything else?"

"Nope."

I look back out at the water, "I suggest that you tell me what else you said because this conversation isn't going anywhere."

He sighs, "I told Emma what happened with you."

I whipped my head towards him and he flinched.

I felt sad. Seeing my only friend scared of me tore me apart.

"I scare you." I said.

"Well, if you saw what I saw, ya you would be scared too."

"I am scared." I mumble.

"That makes two of us," he said smugly.

"You're such a dick," I sigh.

He looks down at the grass, "and you're a jerk."

I look at him once again, "Nice insult, Hannah Montana. You got any more harsh digs?"

"Shut up." He laughs.

I roll my eyes at the man child.

He stands up and reaches his hand towards me, "Let's go home."

I looked up at him and for the first time ever, I agreed with the 'home' thing.

I grab his hand and he pulls me up, not letting go as we walk in the direction of 'home.'

☾♥︎☽

I walked up to the door and twisted the handle, walking in with Alec hand in hand.

I turn around to see Alec shut the door.

"Happy birthday by the way."

"Thanks," I laugh.

After that, he walks up to me and caresses my cheek.

Nerves shoot throughout my body. I stood there not knowing what to do.

'Don't do it.' A voice says.

Just as he's about to lean in, I pulled away.

"I'm sorry," I say walking up the stairs, not making any eye contact.

I walked into my bedroom and shut the door. My back against it.

I take a deep breath. My head hurt and I was still tired.

I close my eyes and calm myself down before I walk to my bed and lay down. I pull the covers up and immediately drift off into darkness.

☾♥︎☽

I awoke, the clock on the side of my bed read 2:47 am.

'Get a knife'

I listen to the voice, hoping it would go away soon. I hate not being in control of my body.

As I walked down the steps, I could feel the cold wood against my feet.

The kitchen was empty.

I walked over to a drawer and pulled it out slowly and silently. Then I grabbed the biggest knife in there.

I close the drawer quietly.

'Find Mr. Gold'

I walk to the door, putting my shoes on.

I then walk off into the forest, unable to control my actions once again.
