Story Brooke

I woke up in a bed for the first time ever this morning and let me tell you, it was amazing.

I hopped out of bed and went into the bathroom to shower and brush my teeth.

After that, I walked downstairs to see Alec looking out a window.

I walk over to him, "what are you looking at?"

He nods to a tree, "Graham."

I follow his gaze to see none other than Graham looking at the house.

I sigh and walk over to the door.

As I put a pair of shoes on, Alec asks, "where the hell are you going."

"He's not going to leave," I say sliding into the last shoe, "he knows we're here."

I open the door and immediately draw Graham's attention as Alec follows close behind, but stops at the last porch step.

"What do you want," I say as I walk up to him.

"Don't worry, I'm not here to arrest anyone. Regina released lover boy this morning, she doesn't even know he broke out," he explained.

"That doesn't explain why you're here," I say with my voice laced with attitude.

"Emma and Mary Margaret," he sighs, "they're  worried."

"If they were really worried, then why don't they come find me themselves." I fire back.

Graham stays silent.

I start up again, "You and I both know that they're kissing Regina's ass...hell you are too! Everybody in this town sucks up to her because she runs this town, right?! Well, you know what I have to say? Fu-!"

"Everyone is scared of you!" He yells over me.

I widen my eyes in surprise and he continues, "everyone but me! They're scared of you because they don't know what you're capable of, Brooke! I know that you busted him out, because he isn't smart enough to get rid of the evidence."

"The axe," I state.

"Yes Brooklyn, the axe," he grabs onto my shoulders and looks me in the eyes, "you're smart, you're strong, and you're powerful. It's time to grow up!"

I suddenly get the strong urge to hit him, but I control myself.

'Never grow up'

I hear that whisper and I feel like I lose control of my body, and before I knew it my hand flew up and slapped Graham across the face.

He stumbles back and holds his cheek.

The whispers get louder and louder until I snap.

I lunged my body towards Graham and started hitting and punching him repeatedly until someone pulled me off him.

"Brooklyn stop!" Alec's voice pulled me out of my trance.

I fall onto Alec, who supports my body with his, and I grab onto his shirt.

My head spins as my vision is blurred.

I looked down at Graham, who had blood coming down from his nose, then looked up at Alec, who had a scared expression.

I push Alec away then stumble back a little before walking away.

He screamed my name, but I blocked him out.

The expression on his face scared me. His eyes were wide and I could feel his breathing hitch each time I would tug on his shirt. I could tell he was scared.

I ran into the forest for a couple more minutes until I hid up in a tree, waiting for Alec or Graham to walk by.

Soon enough, Alec runs past just like I thought he would.

He stops at a pond just up ahead to catch his breath. I hear him mumble something before sitting on the grass.

About 15 minutes later, he had normal breathing once again and had his hands on the ground behind him as he looked out onto the water.

I was too focused on him that I didn't see Mary Margaret walk up to him.

"Looking for something?" She asks sweetly.

Alec looks back at her and pulls his arms in front of him, "Not really your concern, is it, lady."

She ignores his comeback, "Maybe you should have made a map for whatever you're looking for."

"I would make a map if I could," he rolls his eyes, "thank you very much."

Looks like my sarcasm is wearing off on him. I should probably get that in check.
