Beautiful Morning

 

                             "Baby....baby..." Daniel stood over you, shaking you as softly as possible, "[Yn].....[Yn]...You gotta wake up." Your eyes lids slowly opened, "Huh?" "Wake up...We gotta go sweetheart." After a few blinks, you wiped your crusty morning eyes. Daniel stood over you, right against the edge of the bed. "C'mon. I got your shower water running already." You hesitated but eventually, got up. "I don't know why I'm so sleepy." "Me either," Daniel stood in a mirror, deciding what shirt to wear, "You slept real good. Barely moved at all." You smiled, "Well okay. I'm gna hurry up." "Good. Brush your teeth in the shower. Multi-task." "Okay okay." You stepped inside the shower, moments later, letting the warm water beat down your body. Morning showers were a great way to wake you up. After about 15 minutes, you stepped out the restroom, holding a towel around your wet body. Daniel sat on the bed, ready and waiting on you. He had his cell phone in one hand, the other hand placed on his head. He looked comfortable. As you approached the bed, he acknowledged your presence, "You lucky we got somewhere to be," he bit his bottom lip, "I'd give you a quick beating." You shook your hand, "Shut up, Freak." "Hahahaaaaaaaa. What you gone wear?" You thought for a moment, then examined his clothes. He had on a nice long sleeve, long white pants and grey ankle boots. "I think I'll wear a dress, with some wedges," you rushed over to your suitcase and scrambled around for your outfit. Almost done getting ready, you asked, "Babe.." "Hmmm," Daniel gave you his attention, he watched you dress yourself. He was getting turned on lol, "What time do we have to be ready?" "Pops said be downstairs by 10:00." You looked at the clock, then slowly back at him. A smirk grew on his face, "DANIEL! WHAT THE HELL! IT'S ONLY 9:15. WHAT THE FUCK...UGH!" "HAHAHA, whoa whoa... Relax [Yn]." You sat on the bed, "Why the hell did you do that?" "I like to be on time..." "I coulda slept more Daniel." "I'm sorry," he poked his lip out, tryna be sincere, "I want to spend some time with you before we see Uncle Russ." You looked at him, he motioned to come sit with him. Slowly, you got up and sat on his lap. He kissed your neck a few times. "You look beautiful," he looked into your eyes. "Thank you." He reminded you at least once a day, at least once, of how beautiful you are. "I better finish getting ready." "What else you gotta do?" "My make up." "Nah uh, you don't need that shit." "Just a lil won't hurt Daniel." "No. I said you don't need it." "Okay okay, haha. Fine." He smiled, "Grab your purse, I wanna talk to you by the pool outside." After retrieving your purse, you both headed downstairs. "I wonder where everyone else is..." "Probably sleep still," Daniel said leading you to the pool. "Its so beautiful out today." "Yes you are," he said holding you, "Kiss me." You pulled his lips to yours and savored his kiss. He gently tugged you towards the chairs. "We only been together for a few months but it's honestly feels like forever." You laughed, "I know huh Daniel?" "Mhm, but I wouldn't have it any other way [Yn]. I been thinking lately, been really considering making this official. Personally, I think we need more time but until then," he said reaching for his pocket, "I want you to have something." You got a lil nervous.. what the fuck was he about to do.... He held a small box before you in the palm of his hand, "This belongs to you." You covered your mouth, then wiped away a tear... "Daniel," you said reaching for the box. You slowly untied the ribbon and peaked inside. "Oh my gosh..." You picked up the ring and stared in astonishment. Ring description: The ring was silver, with two hearts overlapping similar to the infinity sign. One heart had your birthstones covering it and the other, his birth stones. "Look inside baby." You read the engravement, "Today, Tomorrow, Always." Your names were across from that in cursive. "I don't know what to say," you said wiping your eyes. "You don't have to say anything, I already know how you feel. I was gona give it to you in the Bahamas but I couldn't wait." You stood up, following him. You wrapped your arms around him, holding him tightly. "Thank you so much," you looked into his eyes, "This is the sweetest thing anyone has ev.." He shut you up with a kiss. After you kissed, you looked up and saw the family standing by the glass doors, clapping and giving a thumbs-up. "YEAH DIGGY, THATS HOW YOU DO THAT!" You both laughed, then looked at each other, "I love you." "I love you back." You looked back at your ring, "Where's your ring Daniel?" He held up his hand, "Right here. Not as pretty as yours, bit more simple but equally as significant," he said smiling. You smiled as you gazed into his eyes, was he the one?
