Sometimes friends have a funny way of showing they care about you. Sacrificing a friend just because you're down shows you're not willing to fight in order to keep them. You care for me but push me away for my sake because you don't want to hurt me. If you decide to lash out one day soon from all of your bottled up anger towards the past.
I know who you are and this conflicted version of you isn't who you are.
He had a funny way of
Showing he cared about
Her, pushing her away
When he needed her
The most but ended up
Hurting her because he
Was too scared of saying
He's totally vulnerable.
