A/N: Hey Guys.
This is a new poem I wrote a few days ago after listening to Halsey's song "Control" which is an amazing song. I recommend it to everyone...fan or not. It's an amazing track!

I woke up screaming, to the sound
Of drumbeats and laughter, your rotting
Face above me leaning and inhaling my scent,
Isn't it the sweetest of smells?,
The non-living, it repels.
Icy steel became my bones, a hurricane beneath my ribs
Taunted me, hot tears rushed down my cheeks, pastel colors
All over me, painting every inch of my body, I'm drowning in them,
Suffocating and losing my breath, I don't have any more control
The hallways echoed and groaned, your memory coming to haunt me,
"Please stop, you're scaring me" a plea came in a whisper,
I've grown familiar with the villains, that live in my head,
They beg me to write them, so they'll never die when I'm dead.
