Note: This poem is inspired by Halsey's new song "Heaven in Hiding" from her 2nd album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom. There are references from one other song also by Halsey, that song is called "100 Letters." Those who know both songs will understand and will be able to pick out the lines.

I do not own the song or the link, it belongs to Astralwerks and to Halsey. All the rights go out to them! :)

In the crowd, I saw an angel
In disguise, I think he may
Be the one, honey trickles
Off his lips, the sweetness

Of his kiss pulls me in, how
Many times do lovers take me
Into paradise?, he grabs my
Thighs, feather lightness in

His arms, puts me on the counter
In his kitchen, his fingers won't
Stop tracing the jean clad legs, I
Feel the heat of a thousand stars

Radiate between us, his hair falls
Of his shoulders, almost covering a
Perfect face, one of a God my eyes
Can't resist such a magnificent sight

Crimson blush in my cheeks make him Fall for me even harder than before my Dream ends and his hands are no Longer touching me, I have

Spent too much time trying to find
A peace of mind  behind a wooden Door.
