Kissed by the sun, he flew
Too closely to the flames
Burning gold, "Don't you
Fly too high" foolish boy

Refused to listen to what
He was told. Warning had
Become endless cries, he
Thought to sound old. Now

He's falling into despair, a
Sore sight for innocent eyes
Mix of wax, feathers of pure
White fluttering in the wind

Melted off on his back, no wings
To hold him above the ground, a
Metallic nothingness came to pour
On his tongue, he died not knowing

What possibilities tomorrow brings
The sea got his name, as tragic as his
Death came to be, it caught a wave of
Interest of many, turning into a whirl

Wind of fame.
