"Nothing much, what's up with you?" I asked causally

"Nothing other than Clair asking me to prom, or reminding me as she put it," he said shrugging

"What did you say?" I asked a bit curious but not surprised that she said that

"I said I was already going with you," he said smiling at me

"Are you CRAZY!?" I shouted pushing him off me making him confused

"She's probably gonna shred my dress now and everything," I complained knowing she was capable to doing so. Alex rolled his eyes and replaced his arm over my shoulder hugging me slightly.

"Oh come on, I'm sure she wont do that. Fine she might but then just leave your dress at Aly's house or something," he suggested

"Anyway you're not backing out now," he added making me roll my eyes

"Fine, I'm not backing out. Anyway tonight is your last football game for the school right?" I asked

"Yeah, you coming?" he asked

"Duh! Everyone's coming. Anyway I'll speak to you later," I said since I was outside of my destination

"Alright, later," he said walking where ever he was going.

I got my lunch and sat down at my table surprisingly seeing all the football guys sitting at our table.

"What's going on?" I whispered to Cassie who was across from me

"Their thinking off a football strategy," she informed me

"Oh ok?" I said

Lunch was going by slowly when Clair came and sat next to me.

"Don't come home," she whispered just to me

"Excuse you, why is that?" I asked confused but trying not to show it

"Just don't," she said before smiling at everyone at our table of which I didn't know were staring at us, before she left.

Aiden and Aaron looked at me confused and I just shook my head and shrugged my shoulders because I had no clue what she was talking about.

Lunchtime ended and I was about to walk with the girls when Alex pulled be slightly back.

"What did Clair say?" he asked

"She said that I shouldn't come home," I said confused, his face mirroring mine

"I know I don't know what she meant," I added

"I'll go with you to check it out in case there's any traps or anything," he joked

"Yeah, I'll need someone to get me out of them wont I," I joked back

I felt my phone vibrate and saw that it was my mum calling me. She doesn't usually call me during school, no one does but I pulled Alex into a corner, to cover me while I picked it up.

"Hi M--," I said only to get cut off by her shouting

"COME HOME NOW!" before cutting the phone on me, leaving me confused once again.

"You okay?" Alex asked

"I don't know, my mum just screamed at me to come home and then cut the phone on me which she never does," I said still confused

"I guess your going then," he said obviously

"Yeah, can you text Aaron that I'm going so that he doesn't think I just disappeared," I asked him as he nodded and I rushed to my car
