Week 17 Making Decisions
Day 1
Which side?
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathersserved that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. Joshua 24:15
Everyday we make hundreds of decisions, some very tiny ones, some probably don't matter that much and some will change the course of your life forever. Here is a list of things that some of us daily face, put them into order of importance to yourself:
What to wear when you go out
What football team to support
Whether to start smoking
Whether to get married
What to eat for breakfast
Whether to go to the cinema or ice-skating on the weekend
Whether to pray
Whether to talk about your friends behind their back's
Whether to lie about the homework you haven't done
Whether to cheat in an exam
Whether to tell your family you love them
Whether to follow God
Whether to get drunk and do drugs
Whether to walk, drive or take public transport
Thinking about the decisions although small can have a large impact on your life. For example eating breakfast, although usually there is no time for it one day you may leave the house and pass out somewhere in the day due to lack of food (low sugar) levels in the body. Whether to tell your family you love them - only God knows when our time will end and whether to follow God.
We all have decisions to make! Which will you choose

Day 2
Which Direction?
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:5
Growing up Tishana was a clever young girl always doing her work, helping around the house and at church. Tishana loved to look her best at all times, in fact she was slightly vain. As she got older her looks became more important to her, and soon when she learnt about boys and their visual natures she was soon able to easily gain attention. Slowly but surely Tishana would find herself spending more time out with friends, dressing more and more provocatively. Her grades began to slip and her church attendance became less frequent. When Tishana was 16 ready to go to college she had to make an important decision. Whether to come back to church and focus on her education or to follow her friends and those around her.

Day 3
What about Now!
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.Matthew 10:28
Thomas grew up in a communist country he had learned from a very young age about Jesus and his sacrifice on the cross. His family had secret meetings in there house for members of his church.
