María walked back into the living room, "Do you boys want to go hang out in Lance's room? The rest of the kids should be coming back from their friends' houses soon."
"Alright, what time is it now, Mom?" Lance asked, walking toward the stairs.
She turned to the clock on the wall, "About five fifty-seven. You know how to read the clock, Lance."
"Gracias," he kissed his mother's cheek and walked up the stairs, Keith following behind him.
