"Thanks, I'm Luke by the way," he said. I rolled my eyes.
"I know you told me in English," I scoffed.
"I never got your name," he replied obviously, just remembering that he sat next to me. Rude. I already knew that I would hate him.
"That's because I didn't want to give it to you," I said as I bit into my sandwich so I wouldn't have to talk more.
"Her names Hollie," Kaela said flashing him a small smile and me a devilish one straight after. I shot her a look, to let her know that I would walk away of she said anything else. She seemed to get the message and stopped.
"I like that name..." he whispered under his breath, I heard.
"What was that?" I asked.
"Oh, nothing," he covered, smiling sheepishly at me.
"So..." Kaela said, quickly noticing how easily I was getting wound up by this boy. "Where are you from Luke?" she asked. Of course she'd ask questions. That's what she's best at.
"Sydney! Me and my family moved over here about a week ago," he explained. I tried not to roll my eyes but I couldn't help it. He didn't see however because he was sat right next to me.
"Just your family?" She continued to press on even though she knew the answers to the questions. She just didn't want him talking to me.
"No actually, I brought my 3 mates with me because they wanted to move here too! Two actually come here as well, I'm not quite sure where they are, they said they'd meet me..." he trailed off as he looked around for his missing friends.
"It's better without them here!" I snapped quickly. He looked at me as if he was shocked I could actually talk. "What can I not speak? Okay I won't," I hissed.
"No it's okay, I was just shocked, it was a bit loud," he said. For the first time I looked him in the eye but quickly looked away.
"They're definitely blue..." I thought.
"What?" Luke asked from next to me. Shit, I'd done it again.
"Nothing," I said looking over to Kaela almost begging her to ask more questions, she got the hint.
"So are you staying here permanently?" she asked. Finally I felt Luke's eyes leave my body and turn to Kaela.
"Well as long as we want to be here yeah." His accent rung through my ears like a painful scream. I wanted him to leave. There was a reason no one sat with us at lunch, because I didn't want them to. And when I didn't want something to happen... It almost never did. I say almost because Kaela was the only one who could ever get around me.
"What brought you here?" she asked.
"My dad got a job here," he replied quickly. She nodded at the answer and they continued their Q&A for a few more minutes, until I felt more people behind me.
"Oh great more annoying Aussies..." I whispered as yet again, I turned around. I looked up again and two more boys were stood in front of me.
"Hey Luke who's this?" One of them asked. He had purple hair and it looked like it had been dyed way too many times.
"This is Hollie and ..." he stopped, remembering he hadn't actually got Kaela's name. I scoffed. So bloody typical.
"Kaela," she replied, whilst looking up at the other two boys.
"Kaela! Hollie and Kaela," he said as if we were best friends. "they're in my English class."
"Ah cool!" the other one said. He was darker than the other two and his hair was almost black, like his eyes. I had to admit he wasn't ugly. But his accent was slightly different. Not that I cared.
I snapped out of my thoughts when I saw them sit down.
"Wait what?! What do you think you're doing?" I snapped. I could practically hear people asking why the hell they were sitting with me, and to be honest, I wanted to know the answer myself.
"We're sitting down," Purple said.
"Who said you could do that?" I spat at them. They seemed shocked at my hostility but, like I said, I hated people and my theory wasn't going to change for some new boys.
"Oh..." Brown Eyes said.
"Ignore her! I do," Kaela said shooting me yet another dangerous look.
"Okay yeah... Everyone just ignore me! It's not like I'm an actual person!" I yelled. I got up and stormed out of the room and into the nearest toilet. I was seething. Who the hell did they think they were?! They couldn't just sit down and charm their way in.
A/N: Please let me know what you think it would mean a lot!
