He signed the files at hindi na niya pa binasa.

Pagka alis ni Jase ay ang pagtawag naman ni Chezka.

Kier frowned and grabbed his phone from the table to answer the call.

"What?" Nakakunot noong tanong niya.

"Sir, can you go here in the department? We have another case, a drug case. Aside from the cyanide and the murderer. We think this is connected to these and the people behind it are one." Chezka said in the other line.

"I'll call you later." He informed her.

"But, Sir-" Chezka was about to say something and he ended the call. It was morning and he felt exhausted. He never thought that love is his downfall.

"Sir..." He sighed when his secretary came in.

What again?

"What Heidi?"

"Sir, the board directors are already here and they are all waiting for you."

He deeply sighed, "can you schedule it again? Tell them, I was not here and I am really busy.

"Sir, they are waiting for you and if we make them wait and reschedule this again they might get mad. They are not happy about rescheduling this meeting. May mag pu-pull out na po ng shares kapag hindi ka po nagpakita." Imporma sa kanya ni Heidi.

Napahilot siya sa kanyang sentido.

"Go there. I will come. I'll just call someone." He told her at lumabas na ng kanyang opisina ang kanyang secretary.

Pagod na siya. Sobrang daming ginagawa kapag nag o-open ng isang branch and proposing new products.

Stress na siya sa trabaho pero ang dahilan ng kanyang ikakamatay ay ang kanyang asawa. Hindi niya maintindihan ito, she's acting differently. He wants to understand her pero hindi naman ito nagsasabi sa kanya.

Pumikit siya ng mariin at hinilot niya ang kanyang sentido.

Tumayo na siya para pumunta sa meeting room. He will finish this meeting quickly. Kailangan na niyang bumawi sa kanyang asawa.

Pagpasok niya ay nandoon na ang lahat at siya na lang ang kulang.

"So, now. Let's begin." Sabi nang isa.

"This is the new and improved product..." He didn't listen to the reporter.

"Our sales are increasing and we are the top selling in the market." One of the investors said.

He is not listening.

After his meeting with the investors and board of directors, the department supervisors came to his office to report.

The unending meeting.

"What the hell is this?!" Pabalang niyang inilagay sa mesa ang folder na kanyang hawak. Lalo siyang na i-stress sa nababasa niya.

"Sir-" hindi niya pinatapos sa pagsasalita ang employee niya at muli na naman niya itong pinagalitan, "there's already a problem of this branch yet you didn't tell me and reported this to me. You made the situation worse before telling me!" Sigaw niya.

"Look at all these!" Galit na turo niya sa mga folders.

Lahat ng mga employees na nandoon ay natatakot at nanginginig na. Ang iba sa kanila ay gusto ng mag resign.

"Sir, we already reported this to you last week." Dahilan ng isa sa kanila.

"All of you! Tell everyone of the leader, managers, and top performer to have a meeting tomorrow! Prepared! And explain this to me!" Tinapon niya ang lahat ng mga folders na nasa ibabaw ng kanyang lamesa. Napapitlag ang lahat dahil sa kanyang ginawa.
