"Ah, shit!" Jake cursed. The car suddenly stopped and we were near the village. "What happened?" I nervously asked, I held tight the grip of the seatbelt. I don't want danger, I'm silently praying he won't do bad things to me and it's my first time being with him.

"I'll just check it." Paalam niya sa akin at lumabas ng sasakyan.

I waited inside the car and as much as I wanted to ask for help my phone battery died.

Ang malas ko naman ngayong araw.

He came back and said, "tire break. I can't call someone right now." I looked at him with fear in my eyes.

"Hey, I won't do anything to you." He laughs, and he notices how nervous I am.

"I want to go home.'' I said in a low tone voice. I regretted being with him. Natatakot ako na baka may gawin siyang masama sa'kin at pinlano niya ito.

I overthink things. The moment na sumama ako sa kanya ay pinagkatiwalaan ko na siya.

"You're safe with me. Do you have a connector? I'll charge my phone." I shake my head as I answer, I look outside and there's no one coming even a car. Madilim at walang masyadong bahay, tapos wala din masyadong nadaan.

"We need to ask for help and we're far away from the village." He said.

"I want to go home." Natatakot na sabi ko sa kanya.

I'm really scared we're just two at this place and it's a bit dark. I feel safer with Ken, even though he's always grumpy. I never feel scared whenever I am with him.

He laughs at me. "I'll bring you home safely and whole. You're thinking too much. Rest assured I won't do anything bad to you," he tried to find something inside his car.

"You're stupid, If I'm not mistaken there's a connector inside the car that can use to charge phones!" I whined. I saw Ken's car. May connector doon at pwedeng mag charge.

He looked at me unbelievably, "do you think I have that thing? Matagal na itong sasakyan na ito sa'kin. Old version na po ito." Natatawang sabi niya at muling sinubukan na paandarin ang kanyang old version na sasakyan.

Entrepreneur daw siya pero bulok naman ang sasakyan.

Maayos pa naman ang sasakyan niya at hindi naman mukhang old version. Baka gusto niya lang talaga ako kaya sindaya niya na, kunware nasiraan kami.

"I'll just walk, the village is just near here." I opened the door of his car and he tried to stop me as I was eager to go home safe and soundly.

I want Ken, right now, I feel so scared and I'm not safe with him.

"Hey, it's dangerous and it's still far." Pigil niya sa akin, he got outside too and followed me. "I promise I won't do anything bad to you, can't you see? I'm finding a way to ask for help." Hindi ko siya pinansin at naglakad ng mabilis papalayo sa kanya, I'm not really comfortable, I want to cry. He chased me and held my arm but I struggled.

"Don't touch me!" He let go of me. "I'll go home alone! Don't follow me!" And I ran but he tried to stop me.

I really want to go home, while I'm running I tried to open my phone. Minutes have passed. I'm seeing a car pass by me and it gives me hope but it disappoints.

Why do we need to feel unsafe at night walking on the road alone? We should be safe. A motorcycle passed by me and they pointed a gun at my forehead, I stepped backward.

"Give me your bag miss, or I'll kill you." He said as I kept on moving backward but he was walking forward. The other man he's with him is smirking at me.
