Richard was ushered to the den with Tatay Teodoro in front of him.  He was sire that Maine's father already know his intentions to her beautiful daughter.  He just wish that his father accepts him for his child.  He was asked to sit opposite to Tatay Teodoro.
"Sit down!" Tatay Teodoro said.  Once seated down, he was surprised when...
"Iho, gusto ko yung totoo lang... May gusto ka ba sa anak ko?" Tatay Teodoro asked him.
He made sure that he looked at Maine's father in the eye before answering.
"Yes, sir!" With all the sincerity on his heart.
"And sir, I am here to ask your permission to court your daughter.  I love her with all my heart, sir! And I am willing to prove that feelings to your daughter and to your family sir!" RJ added.
"To be honest, all I want for my daughter is to be happy and live her dreams.  We want her to have a happy and comfortable life.  We want her to have everything!" Tatay Teodoro said.
"Sir, I know that I am not as rich as you sir but I am willing to work hard to make sure your daughter will have the most comfortable life if she ever have me... I am willing to be part of her dreams and I will support her whatever path she chooses to live...!" RJ said.
"I only want the best for my princess and whatever her decision is when it comes to you I will respect it but I will hold your words in making my daughter happy and comfortable... She deserves every good thing in this world...!" Tatay Teodoro said.
"Yes, sir! With all my heart... I will make sure of it...!" RJ said.
"Well and good... And RJ you have a lot to prove to me that you really love my daughter... And I am giving you my permission! Know yourself and her well so you will know what she really needs...!" Tatay Teodoro said.
He was as happy that he got his approval. 
"O paano, halika na sa dining area, malamang gutom na sila...!" Tatay Teodoro said.
"OK po, sir!" RJ let him go first before he followed so he was surprised when Tatay Teodoro turned back to face him...
"You can call me Tito...!" Tatay Teodoro said and that made RJ smile too wide it almost tore his face...

Their lunch went off nicely and even Nanay Mary Ann has given RJ his blessings alongside his promise that he will never hurt Maine. 

"Ring... Ring..."

Maine answered the call...
"So Kulas how are you? Ginawa mo pa akong service today huh?"
"Yup, the usual... Ano???!! Kulas, mapapatay talaga kita e! Sige, before two andiyan na kami... Pasalamat ka kasama ko dito... Okay? Nga pala pwede paisa mamaya? Bayad sa lahat ng abala mo for today?"
"Okay, bye for now!"

"Tatay, Nanay... We will be out after lunch okay lang po ba? May emergency lang daw po sa talyer e...!" Maine told them...
"Oh, bakit daw?" Tatay asked..
"May kailangan daw po pirmahan e... Need ko po muna i-check yung mga documentation..!" Sabi ni Maine na hindi makatingin sa ama...
"Okay, sige! Kami naman e magpapahinga muna... Isama mo na si RJ ayoko mag-entertain ng manliligaw mo dito at hindi ako clown...!" Sabi ni Nanay.
Natawa ang dalawa...
"Oo naman po, Nay! Kailangan din siya dun e!" Napakunot ng noo si RJ at si Tatay...
"Bakit siya kailangan dun?" Tanong ni Tatay...
"A, e kailangan po kasi ng kasamang tagabuhat dun ni Kulas! May project po siya na ginagawa sa talyer e! Yun ng poh!" Sabi ni Maine...
"A, ganun ba? O, RJ ready ka ba magbuhat ulit?" Sabi ni Tatay..
"Sus, maliit na bagay po...!" Sabi ni RJ...
"Ganun ba? Nga pala bago kayo umalis, pwede bang pakibuhat mo na rin ang mga bagahe namin papunta ng second floor? Kawawa naman kasi ang mga katulong ko kung sila lang e...!" Panggo-goodtime ni Tatay Kay RJ...
"Okay po, pagkatapos po nitong pagkain ko... Diretso na po kayo sa itaas..!" Sabi ni RJ...
"Tatay!!!" Maktol ni Maine...
"Joke lang iho... Dun lahat dadalhin yan sa guest room... Yang pinto malapit sa hagdan...!" Tatay said at bagpatuloy na silang kumain...
"Tay, Nay may ipabibili ba kayo or iuutos tungkol sa gasolinahan? Ako na po muna ang gagawa bilang nagpapahinga naman po kayo...!" Maine asked... Pero parehong smiling ang mga magulang... Nagpaalam na ang dalawa at kasalukuyan na silang nakasakay sa Fortunato!
"Anong meron at bakit parang imbiyerna ka Kay Nico?" RJ said.
"Paano ang siraulong Nico, sinet-up ako ng race today Kay Rick! Mananapak talaga ako mamaya e!" Inis na sabi ni Maine...
"Ano???!! E kagagaling mo lang sa sakit ah! Paano yun?" RJ said...
"Yun na nga! Napikon kasi si Nico sa mga sinabi ni Rick kaya ayun pumayag sa dare! Wag mo ako pipigilan mamaya ha? Babatukan ko talaga si Nico!" Sabi ni Maine... Sakto narrating na nila ang gasolinahan at nandoon nga ang grupo ni Rick!
"Nicolas Mendoza!" Mabilis na bumaba si Maine, naunahan na niya si RJ sa pagbaba... Naiiling na lang si RJ...
"So the tigress is already here... The one I am very much willing to drive!" Rick said lewdly...
"Aba't tarantado pala talaga to e!" Akmang susugod si RJ pagkarinig sa sinabi ni Rick ng pigilan siya ni Maine...
"Oh, here is again the filthy lover boy!" Maine said as she got near Rick... "You know what I really wanna do you!" And she made a move that made everyone cringe...
"I just hope you never show me your face in front of me again or you never see daylights again!" She said in a very dangerous tone, after she kicked his groin so hard he cannot seem to stand up!
"So where will the race be?" She asked casually while she walked back to RJ and Nico...
"Sa dati...!" Sabi ni Nico...
"Ano gagamitin ko?" Maine asked...
"Natune-up na namin ang making ng sasakyan ni Tisoy... Pwede na ito!" Sam and Joyce came out of the machine shop at their back...
"Uyyy, andito pala kayo!" Maine and RJ said...
"Nico, pwede ba kitang makausap?" RJ asked...
"O, bakit? Sige, dude dito tayo...

Nanonood ang tatlo sa usapan ni Nico at RJ, masyadong seryoso pero wala naman silang narardamang Mali... Wala pang 10 minuto bumalik ang dalawa...
"Maine, si Richard muna ang sasakay ngayon, side ka muna!"  Nico said...
"What????" Nanlaki ang matang sabi ni Maine!
