ME

I am Nicomaine Dei Mendoza, a 21-year old girl, a college graduate with high honors. Went to a prestigious company for my OJT abroad. Daughter of a well-known businessman in Bulacan and the youngest sa dalawa nilang anak. I am currently working on our company-owned gasoline station chains. In short we are fortunate.
However, despite everything I have I am craving for something. I am looking for that "wonderful" feeling. I cannot named that feeling, I am just waiting to have it named in God's time. I always pray for that ever since puberty hits me. Apparently nobody was able to give me that "wonderful" feeling. Friends, family even admirers was not the answer to that "feeling". Its like unanswered emotions and questions in my heart. That hallow part on my heart that is currently void of that " feelings".

And my secret life - car racer! I love the excitement behind wheels at full speed. I started when she was 18, it was introduced to me by Kuya Nicolas. Beforehand, I learned to drive when I was 10. My Kuya was my teacher and mentor. It was when he heard me talking about driving lesson with one of our driver.
At first, he was hesitant but then got his approval when I was able to passed his test about cars. Complicated yet I passed and as bet he will teach me to drive. Needless to say, you know the result. In addition of learning how to drive, I also learned to fix cars from basic to extensive repair. Since we own a gasoline station and I have lots of free time after school, during my college days. I was taken to the office almost everyday to learn our business operation. However, I got bored with all the paperwork so I found myself observing our mechanics. I got interested, from then on, everything I know about cars are history. I can say I've become car enthusiast at its finest.
However, I only got my professional license when I turned 18. KUYA Nick sometimes allowed me to tag along together with his friends.

By the way, I'm off limits to have a boyfriend yet since no friends of Kuya will dare make a pass on me especially if they thought I am also a boy! That's one of our sibling's secret.

"Menggay, bakit kinukulit mo naman si Kuya Bert! Hindi ka pa pwedeng matuto kasi 10 ka palang... Kahit itong pinakalumang sasakyan ng daddy mo, hindi niya papayagan. Imbes na kulitin si Kuya Bert dyan bakit hindi ka na lang manood ng TV or IPAD... O baka gusto mo gamitin yung PS3 maglaro ka!
" kuya wala akong ganang manood ng TV or maglaro ng video games." Sagot ni Maine.
"Pero inaabala mo na kasi si Kuya Bert, hindi ka pa pwedeng mag Aral magdrive! Tapos! Sigaw ni Kuya Nico
Minsan isang Gabi, pasado ala Una ng nakaramdam ako ng gutom. Wala ng pagkain sa loob ng kwarto ko kaya napilitan along bumaba ng room papunta ng kusina. Kasalukuyan akong nasa harap ng ref ng makarinig ako ng pagbagsak na parang may tumalon sa galing itaas pababa. Kumuha ako ng matigas sa bagay para kung sakali mahampas ko siya bago pa man siya makapanakit.
Unti-unti Kong naulinigan na may pumupihit sa door knob ng kusina.
Come to think of it, bakit hindi naka lock! Bakit? May sabwatang nagaganap? Ano to?!!!! Hinintay Kong bumukas ang pinto bago ako nagpakita sa kanya.
" Kulas, bakit ngayon ka lang? Mukhang may itinatago ka a? Spill or spoil?" I asked.
"Huwag ka maingay Menggay! Kung hindi tatakpan ko ng tapon yang bibig mo!" Kuya Nick said.
"Your choice, Kulas! Spill or spoil?" I told him.
"Oo na oo na! Galing ako sa pampanga! At alam Kong alam mo na rin kung bakit db? Wag mo itong sabihin kina Tatay at Nanay ha? Kung di lagot talaga ako!" Kuya said...
"Nagpunta ka ulit soon at nakipagpatintero ka ulit Kay kamatayan? Kuya, alam mong delikado db? Paano ka kapag may mangyari at wala kayong medics? Kuya naman...! Ingit ko Kay kuya...
" wag ka mag alala maingat ako at we have briefing if something wrong happens.." Paliwanag ni kuya...
"Pero..." Ang sagot ko Kay kuya kaya lang nagsalita siya ulit...
"Alam mo naman pangarap ko ang makipagkarera at mating professional car racer so kasama yang risk na yan... Sana tulungan mo ako na matupad yun, please wag mo ako isumbong! " pagmamakawa ni Kuya.
Sa totoo lang ako rin ang natatakot sa sports ni kuya pero nakikita ko talaga na masaya siya dun... Iba yung glow ng Mata niya kapag nasa manibela na siya. Para sobrang saya niya. At iyon ang hindi ko kayang alisin ang kasiyahan niya. Kahit labag sa kalooban ko, papayag ako pero sa isang kondisyon...
"Sige pero tuturuan at isasama mo ako..."
"Ano????"... Ang sabi ni Kuya...
