"RJ??!!! Maine?!!! Anong nangyayari dito?" Nagulat silang lahat ng biglang nagsalita si Lola, kasunod nito ang daddy niya na nakatingin sa dalawa...
"Ummm, Lola!" Napapakamot sa batok si RJ na lumapit Kay Lola...
"Ummm, guys! Let's continue na, parating na yung mga guest... Ruby, could you get the black and white cookies for last minute touches and plating...! As she is covering her arms with her hanky to at least make sure that the wound will not get dirty... She make sure that she did not wince a bit to assure everyone that she is really okay! RJ was about to say something when...
"Boss, the guest are here...!" And after that announcement, everyone put their game face on...
Maine, proceed on checking everything in the menu, the plating, and especially the taste... She wants to make sure that everything is good to go... She almost forgot her wound...
RJ, on the other hand, readied to receive the guests, contrary to what he planned earlier... It was as if he was preparing later after the business is done... He received the guest together with Lola and his Daddy.
When the guests are properly seated... The event coordinator asked them if the food is ready. And if ready, serve it right away...
"O, okay!" And then he rings the bell, signaling the serving of the dishes... The guest were surprised at the clam chowder soup, they really don't expect it since it was notified earlier... So they tried it and it was so good that they look for the manager of the restaurant right away...
"Yes, ma'am any problem that I could be of assistance?" RJ and his daddy asked the minute they arrived at the scene...
"We are surprised that you have this soup... I thought its not part of the menu?" The head guest asked...
"Oh, its not bit our kind chef wanted you to have the best dining experience here so she did that...!" RJ's dad said...
"This tastes great... Honestly, we tried it on some of the famous hotels here that caters this king of soup but this is really the best...!" The guest added...
"We also have the black and white biscuits added for your dessert and a new yorker steak...!" RJ added while he smiling...
"Ohhh, we can't wait for it...!" And then she shouted over the guest...
"Guys, we will have Filipino-New York fusion dishes tonight... The clam chowder is just entrée, and that tastes so good right? As if it was really cooked by a New Yorker, right?" The head guest said...
"Yes, it is so good! Can we meet the chef of yours, Manager?" One of the guest asked...
"Ummm, I will asked her... Maybe later...!" RJ is having second thoughts, since Maine is not comfortable around people, and this is a huge crowd...
"Oh, please do! We want to thanked the chef for the effort!" The head guest asked...

After few more dialogues with the guests, RJ then, went to the kitchen... Upon opening the door, he can see Maine, giving last minute instruction.. He also notice the handkerchief on her arms, maybe she covered it up to make sure the wound will not get dirty... He is going to talk to her about the request of the guest but he will follow her lead regarding this... As he approached Maine, she turned around and their eyes met... Both of them in trance and was reliving the kiss...
"Oh my God! I am trying to concentrate here, please not now...!"
"What is she thinking? I hope she is not mad?"
"Oh, I can't breathe! Why do I have a feeling that he is checking if I am mad at him?"
"Please don't be mad! Please don't be mad, I am sorry!" His eyes plead...
"I am not mad, I was just surprised!"
"But honestly, that lips of yours will be the death of me... Ugggghhhh!"
"Truth be told, that was electrifying on my part... Did you enjoy it as well?"
"O, baby if you only knew what I am feeling right now, you will strangle me... I am not sorry that I kiss you, I really wanted it...!"
The staring contest continues until it was broken by...
"Maine, the guest wanted to meet the chef, will you fine with it?" RJ's dad butt in..
"Ummm, what? I am not prepared!" She panicked...
Since RJ is staring at her, he felt her panic...
"Dad, let me talk to her, please...!"
RJ's dad stare at him and smile before he left...

"Ummm, Maine! Sorry about that... I should have told it to you first...!"
"Ummm, its okay... I was preoccupied before your dad announced himself...!" Maine's eyes bulged when she realized what she said...
"Ummm, I mean my mind was off somewhere... Ohhh...!" Maine blushed furiously...

"But to tell you honestly, I hope you are not angry with me... I want that to happen again...!" He blushed while he is saying that...
Maine, on the other hand, blushed furiously that you can see visible tint of pink on her cheeks...
"But as much as I want to do it, we have business to attend to...!" RJ added with a radiant smile on his face...
Maine was so surprised how his face lit up and she was kinda liking it... Liking that she brought that smile to his face... However, this is not the right place so she business first..
"RJ, I am not ready to face the guests, especially that large crowd... I am not prepared and I don't even know them...!" She panic upon realizing her dilemma...
"Maine, please look at me... I will be your escort, I won't leave your side, promise! Pinky swear on it... I just want them to tell you personally how happy you made them today...!"
"But...!"
"Please, no buts! Can you do this for me?" He begged her using his eyes... Puppy eyes...
She laughed out loud, her intoxicating, breathless laugh... And RJ loving it...
"OK... But please don't leave my side, natatakot talaga ako sa large crowd... And isa pa casual lang ang dalawa Kong damit, medyo off sa getup mo ha?"
"Don't worry I have shirt in my office, I will change to match yours...!" And she appreciated it more than he know...
"Let's go now... Do you have any last instructions to the crew?"
She faced the crew and asked...
"Do you have anything to do with me? Any other things I can help you with?"
"None, go now, Ms. Maine... Everything has been well taken care of... No need to worry...!" Ruby said... And shooed them out of the kitchen...

They look for Lola and asked her to wait for Maine in the office while she change... After few more minutes... Maine came out of the bathroom wearing this...
