Virgo POV:

'Fatso,' I grinned at Taurus who was stuffing his face. We were both sitting in the cafeteria and I'd finished eating and was waiting for Taurus.

He pouted sulkily. Oh my god. He looked so adorable right then I just wanted to wrap my arms around him. Oh, another thing. I'm in love with my best friend. He's not only hot (nearly all of the girls try to flirt with him but he's too oblivious), but he's the cutest thing ever. Moments like these prove how cute he is.

'You're so mean to me,' Taurus said. I shrugged.

'I'm just being honest,' I smirked. Taurus frowned.

'Meanie poo.' I rolled my eyes. He could be immature sometimes too but I was too so who was I to judge?

Taurus continued eating his pizza. He always managed to stay thin and fit despite having about 5 times the food I have. I sighed. But this was no cliche high school movie. Taurus would never love me back. He thinks of me as a sister, not a lover.

We've been friends since grade 2, why would he fall in love with me now?

'What's wrong?' Taurus asked concerned. Another reason why I love him, he's so caring and protective.

'Um.. nothing?' I said looking away. It hurt to know I would never end up being with him.

'I've known you for so long to know there's something wrong Virgo,' Taurus whispered. The bell rung.

'Let's go to class,' I said, standing up and forcing a smile on to my face.

'O - kay.' Taurus said. He looked bothered. Damn it. He knew me too well.

AFTER SCHOOL

'Hey V - virgo?' Taurus mumbled. I was at my locker and Taurus had come over as we were going to his house after.

'Yeah?' I smiled as I closed my locker.

'I - I need to t - tell you something.' Taurus blushed. He usually never stuttered and he looked down at his shoes, his soft light brown hair covering his hazel eyes.

'Tell me anything you want.' I said assuringly. I wanted to make sure he knew he could, ya know, tell me anything he was worrying about, ahaha?

'I r- really like y - um tacos.' Taurus said awkwardly. My heart stopped. It sounded like he was going to say 'you', but he said tacos. 

'Yeaa... What were you actually going to say?' I said slightly disappointed. Actually I was VERY disappointed but I couldn't just make Taurus fall in love with me.

'I'm g - going to the bathroom,' Taurus said quickly running away. 

'Wait! Taurus! What were you actually going to tell me!' I cried after him. I quickly followed him, people making way for us. I suddenly tripped on my untied shoelaces and fell forward.

'Aaah!' I screamed as I fell on Taurus. I faced Taurus, who faced me. We were lying on each other, staring at each other just centimetres apart. 

I blushed madly, Taurus too and he smiled at me with his trademark goofy grin and his eyes were shining brightly.

'L - let's go now,' I said as I started to get off him, but he suddenly pulled me down with one movement and our lips connected, his slightly chapped ones meeting mine.

A few people in the background whooped loudly as we separated. We were both blushing messes now as we stood up and ran out the school hand in hand. We looked at each other when we got into Taurus' car. I felt butterflies in my stomach, despite having knowing him for years now, and Taurus leaned in.

'I love you,' Taurus whispered softly, before kissing me gently on the lips. 

'You're so cute when you blush,' I laughed when we stopped after like 5 minutes.

Taurus gave me another one of his irresistible pouts.

'That's not a bad thing' I protested knowing he was only joking.
