Chapter 59

        (Reader)

Great, I've made a new friend. 

A friend who will probably try to kill me.

I shook the thought of my head. 

It was stupid.

I didn't know if I could handle staying here any much longer. 

I knew I wanted to stay with Jack.

Part of me knew that it was time to go back.

It was time for me, to be free again.

I've made my decision.

I knew what I was going to do.

I knew what I wanted.

(Jack)

I don't know if she can handle being here anymore.

I mean, sure I want her here, but.

I want her to be happy and free.

Not stuck in the hellhole I already am.

I didn't want her to make the same mistake as I did.

I decided, to make things right.

I decided, it was time.

I climbed up the stairs to see her just in time.

It almost seemed as if she was going to see me too.

"Hey, I need to talk to you." I said.

"I needed to tell you something too," She said.

I was surprised. "Okay, go ahead." I said.

She shook her head. "No, you go." 

I shook my head this time. "You go,"

"No, you!"

We both looked at each other.

"Okay, I'll go!" We both shouted at the same time.

"Jinx!" We both laughed at the same time.

"Okay, okay. I give up." I laughed.

She giggled and took a deep breath.

"Okay, what I wanted o tell you was, that.." She hesitated.

"You want to go?" I asked.

She just stared at me with wide eyes.

"How did you know?" She asked.

"I was planning to tell you the same thing," I said.

Her mouth formed into the shape of an, "O."

I nodded. 

She smiled. 

"Well, I guess I'll see you later?" She asked.

My heart broke to hear this, but I knew it was going to happen soon anyways.

"I'll see you later.." I said, trying not to choke on tears.

I watched her disappear in her room.

After minutes of waiting, she appeared back again.

We were standing in front of us, not saying anything.

"I'm going to miss you." I said, wrapping my arms around her.

She hugged me back. "Me too." She said.

Then she let go.

"Bye," She said, walking away from me.

"Bye.." I whispered.

I watched her go.

I watched her be free.

I watched her.. 

She was happy now.

She was safe.

And all that matters to me now.
