Chapter 42

         (The Readers Perspective)

I couldn't breathe. I felt like I was going to puke all of my insides out. All of a sudden, I blacked out completely. However, I was in a black empty room. Darkness everywhere. Suddenly, a light came. I looked towards the direction of the light and saw my grandfather. Yes, my grandfather that I had when I was little, but died of an operation while getting his brain replaced. He was smiling his warm smile that he used to do when I was little. My parents would tell my grandfather to take care of me, while they completely ditched me later. He extended his hand out to mine. 

"Do you want to come with me and live happily forever?" My grandfather asked.

"No.." I said. 

"I want to be with someone whom I love granddad.." I pleaded.

Grandfather bended down and looked at my face with a smile. His smile kind of hugged me. 

"Are you sure?" He asked.

I nodded. Out of all the things I want most, I want Jack.

Grandfather stood up and walked away into the direction of the light.

"May you have my blessing, child." Grandfather said, while walking into the light.

Then he disappeared, and the lights came back on.
