I decided to do this in Joey's p.o.v for a change
Joey's P.O.V
Billy, Hank, Snuffy, Ricardo, and I were sitting at our usual lunch table. They were all talking about something dumb when I saw the prettiest girl in my eyes, Deane, walk by.
Billy and the guys knew I liked her, but I don't think how much.
"Hey, Deane!" Billy yelled, making her stop.
"Oh, Hi, Billy."
"Sit with us?"
"Sure." She smiled, sitting beside me and across from Billy.
"You look beautiful today." Billy winked.
I rolled my eyes.
"Thank you," she laughed.
"Well, you always look beautiful. What am I saying?"
She giggled.
They kept flirting and I decided it was time to tell Deane I liked her before Billy stole her from me.
"Deane, can I talk to you?" I stood up.
"Sure."
"Over there?"
She stood up and we walked away to an empty corner of the cafeteria.
"What's up?" She asked.
"I couldn't stand seeing Billy flirt with you."
"Why?" Deane raised an eyebrow.
"Because..." was I ready to tell her this?
"Um... I like you. A lot."
"Really?" Her dark blue eyes shined.
"yes, really."
"Joey, I asked Billy to flirt with me in front of you to make you jealous."
"So you like me, too?" I smiled.
She nodded and leaned in to kiss my cheek.
