Echoes of Farewell

I won't hold back, I'll face my fears,
No room for regret, as I dry my tears.
Leaving it all behind, no trace to show,
Letting go of everything, letting my heart go.

I won't be returning, no, not anymore,
Never again will I walk through that door.
With a heavy heart, I bid my farewell,
A bittersweet goodbye, a story to tell.

Determined to move forward, I take my stride,
Yet sadness lingers, deep down inside.
For what was lost, for what could have been,
A tinge of sorrow, a silent scream.

This is the end, the final goodbye,
Though determined, a part of me will cry.
The memories remain, etched in my soul,
A chapter closed, a part of me whole.

I won't hold back, I'll face the unknown,
With determination, my spirit will be shown.
But in my heart, a hint of sadness will stay,
As I bid farewell and walk away.
