He made promises,
She believed with all her heart,
He professed love,
She entrusted her soul to him.
But he shattered her,
Leaving her broken and in tears,
He offered apologies,
She fled, seeking solace in distance.
He pursued her relentlessly,
Yet she hid, protecting her wounded heart,
He searched for her desperately,
But she had moved on, finding strength within.
He finally found her,
Yet she stood strong and unyielding,
His apologies fell on deaf ears,
She refused to listen, guarding her peace.
In the depths of his remorse,
Regret and pain consumed him whole,
He took it to the extreme,
Ending his own life in despair.
She, left behind, became a prisoner of misery,
Living each day devoid of life and filled with regret.
