Resigned Resilience

In the depths of pain, I've mastered the art,
Hiding the hurt when someone breaks my heart.
Like a warm blanket, I shield the ache inside,
Protecting it from life's cruel and bitter tide.

Alone, I navigate this world's stormy sea,
But within my heart, a comforting plea.
For in solitude's embrace, I find solace deep,
A sanctuary where my wounded heart can sleep.

Though the pain persists, I'm not alone,
Wrapped in a blanket, a comfort of my own.
It cocoons my heart, a gentle, soothing embrace,
Softening the blows, offering a tranquil space.

Loneliness may linger, but within its grasp,
I find a quiet refuge, a momentary gasp.
For in the depths of solitude, I discover,
Strength to heal, to mend, to recover.
