Chapter 24

I locked and unlocked my cell again and again, unsure of what to do. Call him or not. I havent contacted him since I moved.
I unlocked it again and pressed the call button. After 2 rings he picked up.

"Hello?" His voice came.

"Matt.."

"Diana! I have been so worried. I tried contacting you but you changed your number."

"I am sorry. I just got so busy. How is school?"

"Its good. Like it always have been."

"School was never good!" I solemnly said.

"Come on Diana! They were sorry for what they did to you."

"Really now!"

"Yes! Anyways. Tell me about your school. Made any friends?"

"Yes. Apparently I met this girl Kelly in the library before the school started and found out that she was in the same school as me."

"Thats good!" I could hear the smile in his voice.

"And then I met the bad boy of the school." I said, carefully.

"Please dont tell me he bullies you.."

"No. He is a friend of mine. He is not what people have made him look like. His name is Aiden."

"Aiden?"

"Yes. And my mom and His are like really good friends."

"Oh."

"Yea. Matt?"

"Yes?"

"Can you visit Denver? Like I miss you." I wasn't lying when I said I missed him. I really did.

"Actually Diana I was planning on visiting Denver, beacause one, you disappeared, and two, I'll tell this reason when I'll come there."

"Oh. Well when are you coming?" I excitedly asked.

"Just give me your address. I'll surprise you."

"No. Tell me when!"

"No Diana please. Send me your address okay?"

"Fine!" The door bell rang. "Matt I gotta go I'll talk to you soon."

"Okay. Dont forget to send me your address!"

"Kay bye!" I hung up. I went to open the door.

"Our mothers are planning a sleepover like teenagers do, on friday night at my house!" Aiden said, coming in. I raised my eyebrow.

"I dont want to get stuck with them!"

"So what do you suggest? We both should run away?" I said.

"Nice idea, but No! I will be sleeping in here!"

"No! No way in hell! Let me live in peace."

"I asked your mother. She doesn't minds."

"Wow! She is letting a guy stay in her daughter's house!"

"First... did you forget that we actually lived together for a week?! Second, did you really forget that?!"

"Ugh fine!" The door bell rang. Aiden opened the door and mum came in.

"Lia! She said yes!" Aiden exclaimed.

"Wait what?"

"I told Aiden to ask you if he can stay on friday night or not." Mom smiled.

"You said you asked my mom and she said yes!" I glared at him.

"Did I now?! See ya!" And he went away. My mom laughed.

"Mom I need to talk to you."

"Yes?"

"Do you remember Matt?"

"Yes I do."

"Well.." And then I tell her. Everything. That Matt is coming and that Aiden and Matt are brothers.

"Why didn't I figure it out?! On our way back from Boulder, Lia told me all about her family. It didn't even cross my mind."

"Hmm. So you dont have a problem right? If Matt comes here?"

"No silly. He is Lia's boy." She laughed. I smiled.

"I miss him." I said.

"Are you in love or what?!" She smirked.

"No mom. He was only a friend, like a brother."

"Okay okay!" She smiled and then suddenly hugged me. "I am glad you are happy."

"I think that's what Dad would want."

"Dad would be so proud of his little girl."

"He is proud of you as well Mom."

"I know." She smiled.

I know small.. but atleast I updated :)
I am going to try update every Saturday. Its still Saturday here... its like 11 55 pm ..
So still 5 mins..
