Two months later

Omniscient.

"I now present to you Mr. and Mrs. Amir Ian Moore." The judge announced to the crowd of family and friends. Though they had already done so of declaration of the marriage, Amir leaned towards Keely and kissed her again.

She laughed lightly beneath his lips but returned it. I still think they're fucking, Jue thought as he stood to the side of Amir with Terrance and Amir's friend Philip.

Everyone continued to clasp their hands together in praise of them until Amir and Keely finally broke apart. They trailed down the aisle of sand and flowers, waving to the attenders. Jue looked around him, making sure nothing was missing.

He then locked arms with Tonya since she was Keely's maid of honor and best friend. Jue looked out and caught sight of Evi, smiling at her as she did the same. He had already confronted her about the best man and maid of honor having to walk together —she of course didn't have any problem with it, it's only a walk for a short moment. Besides, she just wasn't the easily jealous type.

"Married man." Jue teased as he shook hands with Amir. Amir chuckled, returning the gesture while chewing a piece of cake and nodded. They were now about an hour into the reception.

"For sure. Thanks for getting everything else done in like two months." Amir continued to chuckle as he looked up at his older brother.

"Hell, you're welcome. I didn't know so much was involved with being the best man." Julian admitted.

He thought back on having to plan and give the bachelor party,help arrange wedding accommodations for out-of-town groomsmen, confirm honeymoon travel reservations, if the groom wishes. Attend the rehearsal. Get any payments for the wedding officiant, musicians, or other participants from the groom.

Take charge of the wedding rings. Making sure Amir had the marriage license with him and get him to the wedding venue on time. Take a head count. Hand the groom the ring if there is no ring bearer.

Escort the maid of honor, Tonya, down the aisle when the ceremony concludes then return to escort the mother of the bride. Also, deliver the fee envelopes in private to the officiant and any others. That's only a few of the requirements of the position.

Just the very thought tired him but he got it done successfully, of course with the help of Tonya and the rest of the family. He wouldn't have managed to get it done on his own.

"Well I appreciate it." Amir says lastly and licked his lips for lingering icing on the cake. He looked around and furrowed his brows. "Where's Evi?"

"Oh, she went back to the hotel. She said since it was family only she didn't want to intrude but I mean technically." Jue answered and sat in the seat across from his younger brother. Amir nodded in agreement to his hints.
