Benny's point of view:

I woke up this morning and I looked at my clock and it was 7:00. I did not know why the hell did I woke up early. I looked at my ceiling for a few minutes thinking about yesterday. I looked out of my window and I saw Lisa on her the drive way. Her parents looked like if they were off to work. So I quickly changed and went downstairs to grab something to eat. I looked out the window again. Her sister went inside her house and Lisa was walking off to somewhere. I went outside to go see Lisa again. "Hey Lisa", she jumped since I scared the crap out of her. "Oh hey Benny. Why you up early?", she was holding money and a piece of paper on her hands. "I don't know but the real question is why you up early and where you going", sending her a smile. "Oh I was just going to the store buy a few things", said with a soft voice. "Do you mind if I can come with you?" "Um...sure you can come." We walked to the grocery store and she looked at her list what to get. She was really quick and she got the stuff fast. We went to pay the stuff and went back home. While we were walking towards her house I decided to talk to her. "Lisa remember you didn't get to finish answering my question yesterday." "Oh yeah, I lived back in Mexico. We moved because my dad had an important job. Thats why we lived here", her voice was cute. "So do you play any sports?", looking at her with a smirk. And she smiled back. "Well I have played softball a little bit, my uncle taught me how to play football, and finally my dad use to play soccer ever since he was younger. So he taught me and my sister", I stared at her in full shock.
(BTW my uncle and my dad did taught me how to play sports but I don't softball lol)
"What?", she was laughing a little. "You play softball. Me and my other friends play baseball. So do you wanna join. We only have a few minutes till 8:00.", said in excitement. "Um...sure I would love to play. Just let me change when we get to my house."

Lisa's point of view:

I let Benny come to my house. Good thing Rosie was upstairs sleeping. I changed into my high waist shorts with a LA Dodgers shirt and black high top Converse. I grabbed my glove. And we ran behind a store called Vicent's drug store. Benny went inside to buy a ball. He came back with a pack of boys. I was nervous by somehow. The boys stared at me for a moment. And looked at Benny. "Guys this is Lisa. She's gonna be playing with us", the boys except Scotty crossed their arms and looked mad at Benny. "Come on Benny man, she's a girl. And girls can't play", said the boy with a dark skin and a K.C. hat. I raised an eyebrow at him. All the boys looked at me. "Come on guys, at least give her a chance. You gave her Smalls a chance, why can't you guys give her a chance." "Alright we'll give her a chance. But she has to make a home run so she can play with us", a kid with a black framed glasses. "Alright. Its a deal." "Anyways, Lisa I'll introduce the boys. I know you've met Scotty but we call him Smalls", pointed at Scotty. "Thats Timmy and Tommy Timmons", pointed two boys that looked alike, of course. "Thats Squints", pointed to the boy with black framed glasses. "Thats Yeah-Yeah", pointed to a short, tanned boy. "Thats Bertram Grover Weeks", pointed to a tall boy with glasses. "Thats Kenny DeNunez, we call him by his last name", pointed to the boy who said that I couldn't play. "And last but not least thats Hamilton 'Ham' Porter", pointed to a chubby kid. We all went to a place called the sandlot. I was behind all the guys while they were walking to there positions. "Lisa you bat", Benny shouted. I was ready to bat. "Should I go easy on you?", Kenny asked. "Give me all you got", shouted at him. "Alright I'll give it to ya", I missed. And I was hoping if I can swing it this time. When DeNunez was gonna throw it I swinged the bat and the ball flew to the other side. I ran as fast as I could. Yeah-Yeah was third base so he threw it to Ham. I went back and forth and tried to tag me but it was to late. I made it to home run. Everyone's mouth dropped. "How is that possible" Squints shouted. "Cause I can play, dummy." "Okay you can play with us now", DeNunez giving me a grin. "Cool", smiling at Benny. After playing for a few hours we called it for today. We all left the sandlot and we left to home. After all the boys left, it was just me, Benny, and Smalls. Smalls just left us and Benny stopped on front of my door. "You played well today Lisa. I guess I'll see you tomorrow", Benny was smiling at me. He was so adorable. Benny was leaning for a kiss so I leaned in too. I felt his soft lips touching mine. I backed away really fast and went inside my house without saying Benny bye. Good thing Rosie didn't tell mom and dad when I left the house. "Where were you I was looking for you", Rosie sitting on the couch. "Oh. I was play baseball with the neighbors", said with a nervous tone. "Okay. But next time tell me", Rosie continued watching the tv. I ran upstairs and put my stuff away. I looked out the window and saw Benny looking out the window too. Benny send me a wave and I sended a small wave to him. I hit the showers and thought:
Maybe Benny likes me. I like him too but it kinda feels awkward because I only just met him for only two days.
I layed down in my bed looking at the ceiling. I felt sleepy so I slept till the next morning.
