This is a Sandlot fanfiction. The main character, Katherine "Kat" Smalls is Scotty's older sister by two years. Her story takes place in the summer of 1962, when the Smalls family moves into San Fernando Valley. After being completely uprooted from her stable life, Kat feels she has to start over and becomes your average, dramatic teenage girl. Along the way, she begins to see her younger brother in a different light, and watches him grow with his new friends. She ultimately finds out that she isn't so different from little Scotty and realizes how special Benny is to not only Scotty, but her as well. I do not own Sandlot or any of the characters, besides Kat of course. Warning: This doesn't follow the movie entirely, but it's close. Contains mild swearing.
