Rydel's POV
Oh my god... I'm frozen. I don't know what to do. I can't just go running back into his arms. He cheated on me with Kelly. Also, if I was to get back with him I'd have to tell him I'm really Rydel, not Mary! I'd also have to tell him Mark is his... then I could lose him forever. I'm not prepared to let that happen.
I didn't know what to do when Ratliff asked me that.
"Uh, No...Sorry"-Rydel
"Come Again?"-Ratliff
"I'm so sorry..."-Rydel
"Why kiss me then?"-Ratliff
"You kissed me!"-Rydel
"Yeah, well you didn't mind when I was kissing you!"-Ratliff
"What's that supposed to mean?"-Rydel
It means...you are desperate!"-Ratliff
"I am NOT desperate! Even if I was I would NEVER date you! In act you'd be the last person on my list!"-Rydel
"Really? You aren't even on my list! You are not my type! You aren't even that pretty for gods sake! I don't know how you have a kid! All the guys must run from you! Who would even wanna go near you?"-Ratliff
"Are you fucking kidding me right now? How dare you say that! Funny enough all I've heard you go on about Is how much you miss Rydel! Stop being so obsessed! She didn't want you! She left! Get over it! No wonder she left! I can't even stand you right now! You don't know what I've been through! Just because I wasn't ready for a relationship, you start an argument!"-Rydel
"How dare you bring Rydel into this! You didn't know her! In fact you probably never even heard of her! You don't know how much I loved her, okay? And no! Is not because you wasn't ready! You remind me so much of Rydel and you was leading me on. If you didn't want this then why act like it! I wish I never met you! You are the worst person ever! I can't even stand to look at you right now! I help you find Mark and you repay me like this? I may have only known you for a few days but I thought I actually liked you. I seriously give up!"-Ratliff
"Maybe Rydel wouldn't have left if you didn't cheat on her...ever think of that! How dare you patronise me! I don't care if you walk out of my life! I'm used to being on my own. I didn't have anybody for the past 2 years. I had 1 person. My mom. You say I'm the worst person ever? You wouldn't be saying that if you knew who I really was! I wouldn't even be arguing with you right now if it wasn't for you kissing me! You are such a sex-crazed man whore! I bet you've slept with more girls than a male prostitute! I'm not even gonna stay here and argue with you any more! I thought we could be friends. Obviously not!"-Rydel
"How do you even know I cheated on her? Who the fuck told you? Who you really was? I know who you really are... you are a desperate sex deprived whore! I mean, who'd wanna have sex with you? You wanted to be friends? Yeah right!"-Ratliff
"You wanna know who would sleep with me? YOU! And I'm really a whore am I? Thanks a lot Ratliff...I thought you loved me."-Rydel
I didn't even let him finish. I grabbed Mark who was on the floor and I took off with him. Leaving Ratliff standing there angry. I think I almost gave it away... Oops!
It's completely dark now and I begin to worry as I can't find the camp site anywhere. I soon become tired so I sit down with Mark. I make a little bed on the floor with a blanket I brought in my backpack earlier. I lay it over Mark and I lay down. I was freezing cold as I was only in shorts and a tank top. I start crying as I think about everything Ratliff said to me. I fall asleep soon after.
I wake up to somebody shaking me.
I look up to see Riker standing over me.
"RIKER! I'm so happy to see you! We got lost!"-Rydel
