Chapter Nineteen

It had been a week since that incident and she had been hiding away from Wali from past week because now she felt so embarrassed for kissing him like a mad women. She knew she was his wife but still they don't share that kind of relationship yet. That night when she realised she had been kissing him, she quickly moved away and then after reporting the whole incident to police they came back and went silently in their rooms. Wali didn't even spoke a word about that incident and she kind of felt relieved for that. She knocked on his door and took in deep breath. Aisha just told her that Wali was calling her in his room and now she was here. After that incident in the forest, that will be first time they were going to talk. She was feeling nervous.

'Come in.' Wali said from inside and she slowly opened the door and walked in. He was doing work on laptop while sitting on the bed.

'Did you call me Wali?' Talia asked and he looked up at her then he got up and walked towards her.

'Pari said to me that you have threaten her.' Wali said while looking at her and she shocked looked up at him

'What did she told you?' Talia asked whereas he was standing in front her.

'She said that she is scared of you because you threaten her.' Wali said while intensely looking at her whereas she gulped in nervously.

'She is lying, I didn't do anything with her.' Talia lied and looked down. She never thought Pari would tell everything to Wali.

'And why would she will even lie?' Wali asked while narrowed his eyes on her.

'That what you should ask from her?' Talia said while keeping confidence in her voice, and looked up at her.

'Well,  we are having the meeting again this weekend and she don't want you to be present there?' Wali said and walked towards wardrobe and opened it whereas she shocked stared at his back.

'So, she could flirts with you.' Before she could even controlled her mouth words came out and Wali quickly looked back at her.

'What do you mean?' Wali asked while walking back towards her.

'I mean.....' Talia tried to say but stopped and stared at Wali thinking would it be good idea to tell him.

'You mean what?' Wali asked and she looked at him.

'She clearly flirts with you and you ................' Talia stopped and looked at him.

'And I what Talia?' Wali asked quickly

'And you enjoy it.' Words blunted out from her month and she quickly put hand on her month and he shocked looked at her.

'What?' Wali screamed and she just looked around ignoring his stared.

'What make you think that?' Wali asked sharply and she looked at him. 'Talia please shut up, don't say anything else now.' She said to herself.

' Because don't even stop her.' Words came out without she could even stopped them and she quickly closed her eyes on her stupidity. Wali was shocked looking at her.

'She is my client, I can't be rude with her.' Wali said in his defend.

'That is not even a excuse but she can flirt with you in front of me, That is fine with you.' Talia said angrily as picture of her hand on his arm come as a flash in her mind.

'That is utterly nonsense and stupid.' Wali said

'That is not nonsense and stupid.' Talia said while putting pressure on word 'not' .

'Wait a minute.... Wali said and looked at her whereas she patiently waited for him to continue.

'So that mean you actually threaten her.' Wali asked while narrowed his eyes on her and she nervously looked down.

'No, I didn't.' Talia said while looking down .

'Look at me.' Wali said and made her looked at him while holding her from her chin.

'What did you do to her?' Wali asked and they were looking in each other eyes.

'I said to her nicely that she should stop flirting with you.' Talia lied.

'Mrs Talia Jabran, Stop playing innocent. ' Wali said

'I am not playing innocent. I am innocent, that is what I said to her.' Talia lied again and took out her chin from his hand as it was hard for her to lie while looking in his eyes. She can't tell him how possessive she was about him?

'Liar.' Wali said and she got angry.

'I am not lying.' Talia said angrily

'Then, tell me the truth.' Wali said

'Why you even care that much about her. Are you having affair with her?' Talia said and Wali got jerk with her statement.

'What?' Wali screamed shocked.

'Oh my god, You are having affair with her, Isn't?' Talia said and started crying whereas Wali got paniced.

'For god sake, I am not having any affair.' Wali said to defended himself whereas she looked up at him with red nose and eyes.

' Then, why you care so much about her? You are fighting and calling me liar for her.' Talia said childishly and Wali helplessly looked at her.

'No, I am not fighting with you.' Wali said

'Why you are having affair with her, Is she is prettier then me.' Talia said while holding him from his collar and he shocked looked at her.

'No, I told you I am not having affair with her.' Wali said helplessly.

'What is in her so special which I don't have?' Talia said and cleaned away her tears and looked at him with sad eyes while he was feeling so helpless on how to explained to her.

'Who is prettier me or her?' Talia asked

' What?' Wali screamed

'Come on, tell me. Look at me.' Talia said while making poses and he helplessly looked at her.

'Come on Talia I am not having affair with anyone. You are acting like a wife now.' Wali said and went though his hand in his messy hair.

'Because I am your wife. Now, you are problem with that too. ' Talia said and started crying again.

'No,No.....it is nothing like this.' Wali said while getting panicked again and he leaned to cleaned  her tears.

'You must be thinking of marrying her because I am a problem to you now.' Talia said and moved away his hand angrily.

'For god's sake, Stop being childish Talia.' Wali screamed.

'Now again you are screaming on me.'Talia said and she started crying even more harder.

'No, Listen......' Wali said and took her face in his hand and made her looked at him.

'Is it because I am not letting you sit with us in meeting, then you can sit with us.' Wali said

'What about if she flirts with you.' Talia said and Wali took in deep breath.

'I promise, I will stop her.' Wali said and sighed.

'Promise.' Talia asked while moving her hand towards him to shake.

'Promise.' Wali replied and  shake hand to made promise whereas smiled appeared on Talia's face. Wali cleaned away her tears.

'Can I go now?' Talia said and Wali nodded her head in yes whereas she turned over to walk out.

'Don't make too spicy food this time.' Wali said and Talia looked back at him whereas he narrowed his eyes as if telling her that he knew  she was one who did last time. She nervously looked down then nodded her head in yes and quickly walked out.

'What the hell?' Wali said and sat down on bed.

'Is this how wife reacts?' Wali said to himself and put hand on his head.

'Ya Allah, Then all the men in the world are in huge trouble.' Wali said and sighed. Then, he got up and got inside shower to cleaned up.
