Seriously, why oh why do none of the super villains captured by the police never go to court after being arrested? It can save a comic book writer a lot of pain with trying to describe the complexities of the court system to children, which in itself is kind of justifiable. However, wouldn't it be great if the creators took a risk once in a while by trying to educate us about the court system in any part of the world? Maybe I feel this way because I'm a history buff and really love the complexities of legal systems, but still, the idea seems like a pretty good one to me. It is so cheap and cliche just to throw the villain in jail, only for them to escape again. A court case might spice things up a bit for the superhero genre.
