The One They Call..Val (Dancing With The Stars)

All of the Chmierkowskyi relatives started arriving at the house and Maks and Val started introducing me to everyone. I got hugs and kisses on my cheek from everyone and we walked into the dining room. Val pulled out my seat for me and I sat down. I smiled at him as he sat down next to me. Everyone else sat down and took our seats. We all joined hands and Papa lead us in prayer. We all started eating when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out to see a post on Instagram from Maks. I loaded the picture. It was a picture of all of us at the table with the caption; @MaksimC; Thankful and he tagged all of us in the photo. I smiled and reposted the picture. @JamaBJamaica; #Family #Chmierkowskyi #HappyThanksGiving I put my phone down and and continued eating my food. The night was spent with easy conversation and everyone asking about Val and I's wedding plans.

Mostly everyone cleared out of the house and Val and I were seated on the couch with Grandma Dukes. Valentin? she asked. He looked at her. Да любовь (Yes love?) he asked. Chto knut i naye naye? (What's the whip and nae nae?) she asked. Val and I looked at each other and laughed. He turned to her and started explaining to what the dance and what the words mean. I laughed at his explanation. She didn't understand and Val pulled out his phone and posted to Twitter. @iamValC: Explaining my grandma what the whip and the nae nae is... And what 'whip' and 'nae nae' mean. I don't think that translates. I looked at the tweet and laughed. Val smiled over at me. We helped her into the kitchen and we sat down at the table as his parents were brining out wine. They poured Val and Grandma Dukes a glass and I laughed. I pulled out my phone and videotaped it. Val and Grandma drank one and Val looked at her. They started talking and she had a few tears coming out of her eyes. Val pulled her into his arms and pulled another shot to them. She shook her head and pushed it away. Val looked at the camera and laughed. I smiled and ended the video. I sent it to Val and he posted it to Twitter and Instagram. @iamValC: gramdukes gon soft on me 😂😂 #thanksgiving I laughed and retweeted it. I replied to his tweet. Ha! 😂 I love you two so much! You two are hilarious Lol I put my phone away as Papa handed me a shot. Val looked at me and grabbed the one that Grandma Dukes rejected. Val clanked his glass against mine and we chugged it. We put the glasses down and looked at each other. We both laughed. Maks and Peta came back into the room. You know what time it is. he said as music filled the room. Maks walked over to me as Val walked over to Peta. Can I have this dance? he asked holding out his hand. I laughed and smiled. Of course, Maksim. I said standing up as he lead us to the center of the floor. Val and Peta stood beside us as the song started. The guys danced around with us as momma, papa, and Grandma Dukes smiled and watched us.
