I was watching TV at my apartment when my phone went off. I picked it up and looked at the number; Derek. I rolled my eyes and answered it with a smile on my face. Derekkkkk. I squealed into the phone. He laughed. What are you up to? he asked. Just watching DWTS reruns. I replied. What's up? I asked running a hand through my hair. Would you like to come over to our place? Derek asked. My head instantly went to one person; Val. Val and I hadn't talked since we kissed last night... I thought about it for a minute. When? I asked releasing a breath. I could come pick you up right now, if you wanted. he said. I released a breath. Let me get dressed and I'll give you a call when I'm done, okay? I asked. Sounds great, and pack a swim suit and a bag. he said. A bag? I asked with a laugh. Yeah, it's getting late; and I'm not going to want to drive you home. he said with a laugh. There's a guest room, so no worries. he said. I sighed. Fine, I'll call you in a bit, Later Derek. I said. He laughed. Later. I hung up my phone and set it down on my end table. I got up from my place on the couch and walked into my bedroom. Those boys will be the death of me..I walked to my closet and pulled out my gold and black bikini. I grabbed my night bag and put the swim suit inside along with a pair of PJs. I rummaged through hanger after hanger and pulled out an outfit for work tomorrow. Tomorrow, I start back up at Doyle Enterprises. I put that into my bag and grabbed a more casual outfit for Derek and Val's house. I walked into the bathroom and changed into my outfit. I looked in the mirror and took in my appearance. I grabbed my brush and ran it through my hair. I put it in a high ponytail and nodded in approval. I grabbed all my hair stuff and put it into my bag. I grabbed my phone and dialed Derek's number. I'm already outside. he said with a chuckle. I rolled my eyes and walked downstairs with my bag on my shoulder. Do you don't have anything better to do then take me places? I asked with a laugh. I opened the door to my apartment, and their stood Derek. I laughed and ended the call. He took in my appearance. You look cute. he said with a smile. I laughed. Thanks bestieeeee. I squealed. He let out a chuckle. I locked the door to my apartment and followed Derek down to his car. He opened the passenger door for me, and I got in. I buckled up as he got into the driver's  side and did the same. He started up the call and pulled out of my driveway. So, what's the night have in store? I asked. Well, we're gonna have a barbecue and a few people from work are coming over. he said. I nodded. But besides that..he shrugged. Nothing to exciting. I nodded. So, I wanted to ask you something. he said as we stopped at a red light. I looked at him. What's up? I asked. Did you kiss Val on Monday? he asked. I facepalmed. How did you hear about that? I asked. He shrugged. I just assumed based on how you both acted last Monday. he said. I sighed. So, it's true? he asked. Derek, you can't tell anyone. I said in a stern voice. He gasped. So, it's true?! he asked. I nodded. Yes, Val and I kissed last week. Oh. M. Geee. he squealed. I rolled my eyes. You're such a girl. I said with a laugh as Derek pulled into a mansion parking lot. He laughed and turned off the car. You love me anyway. he said. I watched as another car pulled into the driveway next to Derek's. Artem stepped out. Artem! I exclaimed. He smiled when he saw who called his name. Jamaica! he said and pulled me into his arms. I hugged him back. He let me go and followed us into the house. I looked around. The place was HUGE! I heard footsteps come down the stairs and my breath caught in my throat. There at the bottom of the stairs stood Val shirtless in a pair of swim trunks and a pair of black flip flops. I got weak in the knees, but Artem was quickly there to catch me. He winked at me and followed Derek out to the pool area. Val walked over to me. Hi. he said with a smile. Hey..I said tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear. You alright? he asked. I nodded. Uh..I said trying to focus on his eyes and not his chest. Yeah, I'm fine; where's the bathroom? I asked looking around. There's five in the house. Val pointed to the left. Closest one is over there. I nodded and walked towards it. Babe? he called. I turned and looked at him. You look stunning by the way. he said with a smile. I smiled back. Thanks. I replied and closed the door to the bathroom. I stripped out of my outfit and changed into the swim suit. I took my hair out of the ponytail and let my hair fall onto my shoulders. I walked out of the bathroom and set my bag on the couch in what I assumed was the dining room. I could hear voices coming from the back yard, so I grabbed my phone and walked out there. I saw Artem and Derek working on the grill and Val seated on one of the lounging chairs around the pool. I walked over to the chair next to Val and took a seat. He had a pair of sunglasses on, but he turned his head to look at me. Even with this glasses on, I can tell you're checking me out Valentin. I said with a laugh laying back in the chair. He pulled his glasses down a little and smirked at me. Well, it's not my fault you're a beautiful woman. he said laying back in his chair. I rolled my eyes. Whatever Val. I said with a laugh. I blame your mother. he said. I laughed. Val, you've never even met my Mom. I said. He turned and looked at me . Actually, you're wrong. he said. I raised an eyebrow intrigued. You've met my Mom? he asked. Not exactly, but I've seen her. he said. She's beautiful, just like you. he said. People did always say I look like my Mom. I said with a laugh. He nodded agreeing with me. But Val, can I ask you something...? I asked with my voice trailing off. He went back to the normal laying position in his chair. Course, you alright? he asked. I nodded. There's just something that's been on my mind since Monday..I said. He looked over at me and took his sunglasses off. Do..You...Love..Me...? I asked. Val looked at me for a moment then ran a hand through his hair. I uh..he scratched at his arm. I think love is a strong word. he said looking at me. I nodded agreeing with him. Do I find you absolutely beautiful and amazing? Well, of course I do. he said answering his own question. I nodded at him as a blush started to form on my cheeks. He grabbed my hand and kissed the top of it. He laid our hands in his lap. I looked at him. So, you know Derek knows we kissed..I asked. I assumed he would eventually find out. Val said with a shrug. He knows us to well. I said with a laugh. Val nodded. I've known him for years, and he knows me like the back of his hand. I laughed. I've only known him for a few months, but he's become like an older brother to me. Val smiled at me. All of you have become like a second family to me. I said. Val smiled at me as Derek walked over. We quickly released each other's hands. Hey Jamaica, you want to get in the water? he asked. Uhm, sure. I said standing up and following Derek to the entrance of the pool. I slowly walked in and squealed. Artem and Val turned their attention to me. It's cold! I squealed. They all laughed at me as Derek did a cannonball into the pool and splashed me. Derek popped up in front of me and I glared at me. He ran a hand through his hair and laughed at me. He pulled me onto his back. Derek, Noooo! I exclaimed. He laughed as he swam with me on his back around the pool. You want to do the lift? he asked. I laughed. I don't know if I trust you. I said still on his back. He laughed. I perfected it! he said. I raised an eyebrow and got on his back. We moved to the shallower part of the pool. Okay, show me. I said. Derek moved to the center of the pool and motioned for me to come over to him. I ran at a slow pace and when I reached Derek he grabbed me and lifted me up into the air. I laughed as I heard a camera snap a picture. My eyes shot to Val as Derek let me down into his arm. Valentin. I said in a stern voice. He looked at me innocently and I laughed. Get your butt in the pool. I said. He shook his head. Later. he said. Vallll. I groaned as Derek let me out of his arms and got out of the pool to help Artem with the grill. Please? I asked. He sighed and got up. Fine. he said walking to the edge of the pool and getting in. There. he said about to step out. I quickly grabbed his hand. Don't be a child, Val. I said with a laugh. He got into the pool and I got onto his back. Yayyyy, Piggie back ride! I exclaimed. Val laughed at me and walked around the pool with me on his back. You know, you're more ripped then I thought. I said with a laugh. Oh yeah? he asked. I nodded. Your arms are huge! I exclaimed. He laughed. Yeah, that usually attracts the ladies. he said with a laugh. I rolled my eyes. So, you don't try to charm them like you did with me? I asked. I got off of his back and he turned around. No, that's only when I really want to impress the girl. he said with a wink. I rolled my eyes and splashed water at him and let out a laugh. I could smell food. Hey you two, cars are pulling in, and the food is done! I heard Derek call. I headed towards the pool steps and Val scooped me up into his arms. I squealed as I heard laughs from behind me. Val set me down with a laugh and handed me a towel. I thanked him and wrapped it around me. I'm just gonna go change into dry clothes, I'll be right out. I said grabbing my phone and walking into their house. I grabbed my bag off of the couch and walked into the bathroom and changed into my outfit and dried my hair and put it into a high ponytail. I walked back out to see Val coming downstairs drying his hair with a pair of black jeans on and a white tshirt. Looking good, Valentin. I said with a laugh. He moved the towel from his face and looked at me. He groaned. Can you help me with my hair? he asked. I nodded. Got a brush and gel? I asked. He nodded and walked to the bathroom I was just in. I sat down on the couch and shortly after Val and sat down in front of me. I put some gel in his hair and ran a brush through it. Derek told me you're staying over. he said out of the blue. Yeah, he doesn't wanna have to drive me home tonight, so he's just gonna take me to work in the morning and I'll catch a cab back home. I said. Val nodded as I ran a hand through his hair to give it a natural curly. Alright Mr. Valentin, you're done. I said putting the top of the gel. He grabbed my phone from next to me and went to the camera. You're amazing. he said taking a picture of himself. I laughed. I know. I said standing up. He kissed my head. Go ahead out, save me a seat. he said. Okay! I called to him as he went back upstairs. I walked outside to the lounge area and looked around at all the people from DWTS. There were two open seats next to Derek and Artem, so I took the seat next to Artem leaving Val to sit next to Derek. Everyone started talking as we all started piling food on our plates. I took a bite out of my burger. OMG, these are amazing! I exclaimed. Artem looked at me with a smile. Glad you like them. he said. I smiled as Val walked out of the house and headed for the seat next to me. Everyone had smirks on their faces. I laughed and rolled my eyes.
