"Vash... Hey, hey, Vash..." you poked him continuously as you craved his attention. You could tell he was getting more pissed off the longer you continued... You both were sitting on a tanned green sofa as he was reading a book titled (book name). "Vash... Vash..." He sighed, agonisingly slowly closed his book and placed it on the coffee table in front of you. "What is it, ___?" He gave you a short glance and his adorable emerald eyes made your heart rush in a way you didn't understand I'm the slightest. "Guess what?" You nudged closer to him which stained his face a light red whilst he titled his head. He was always quite neutral in terms of expressions but he always seemed... Lighter when you were around and it made you feel special. "I..." you took in a large gulp of air "want to learn to fire a gun!" You waved your hands in the air and fell backwards on the sofa, a cushion saving your fall. "...No." he stated in his monotone voice. "Whaaaaatttttt! Why not?" you pouted like a child and blew up your cheeks to try to convince him. "It's too dangerous. Even you should know that..." He looked to the floor and went to outside through the back door before leaving you alone for a moment.

All of a sudden, you began to hear loud bangs breaking out from outside which made your ears ring like a church bell. You covered your ears and tried to look out to see where the hell Vash had vanished off to. Or as you'd put it "Vashinshed" off to. You dashed outside as fast as your feet would allow but there was no sign of Vash. Doubt grew in your stomach and it didn't help that your stomach was growling. "But.. Wait.. I just had lunch..." You nervously turned over your shoulder to see a heavily bleeding wolf which had been hiding in the luscious green shrubbery capturing the edges of the forest. It whimpered from the pain but continued to keep an intimidating posture as saliva trickled down from its horrendous teeth. Even with the heavy injury, it still managed to launch its frail body onto yours and lock its pinpoint teeth around your light skin and causing you to fall to the ground with a thud.

Pain rushed through your body. Blood was rushing down your arm and dripping onto the pale bales of grass below you. All you could do was scream at the top of your lungs whilst it continued to rip large chunks from your skin. In the corner of your (e/c) eyes, you saw a tiny wolf cub prowling in the distance but it didn't help you to make the pain go away. You never really assumed this would be the way you'd possibly die. You slowly started to close your eyes and whispered one final thing.

"I love you, Vash..."

From what seemed like from every direction, bullets were being fired from ever direction imaginable. The furious wolf which had clamped itself onto you had now gone limp completely and your arm was now free to move around, however, your injuries made it nearly impossible. You smiled weakly as Vash came running towards you before passing out. "Onii-chan... How is she?" a confused Lily intrigued as she waited Vash watching over ___'s frail body lying on his bed. "You never did tell her, did you?" He shook his head and released ___'s hands from his grasp. He had never been so lonely in his life, even being one of those countries who stayed out of wars and such. Out of hope, he guided Lily out of his room and telling her to go make some soup. "Ugh... I wonder why Vash's boss made him plant live bombs under all his bridges..." ___ stumbled as she came back to her own world. Vash's eyes widened drastically as he heard her stimulating voice bless his eardrums once again. "I wonder too." he replied with a light smile. It wasn't often he smiled and you felt graced to have been given this rare opportunity.

You gave a quick glance to your tight but neatly done up bandage which obviously had been applied by Lily. You were grateful for how much they took care of you. Tears started to graze your cheeks, reflexively, you felt your hand to your cheeks. "Oh God, Vash... I thought I was going to die back there... I never though that- Mmhph!" You were cut off mid-sentence as Vash nervously pecked your lips. You were both blushing intensely like the blood moon in full view. "I, uh, like you, ___." he confessed and looked away, afraid of rejection. "I love you too!" you squealed in glee as you hugged him tight to his utmost surprise. You shared one last passionate kiss but you had to break away as you noticed Lily peering through the doorway cheering you on. "Also, I got you something." he said as he handed you the same wolf cub of the mother Vash had shot. You decided to call it (wolf name).
