**Three months later**

Liyah's Pov

Well let me say that these last three months have been amazing. Yes I'm still seeing Lamar well king.. well whateva y'all wanna call him. No we're not together or did anything yet but we are close as ever. I let him meet my kids last week & they LOVE him especially kentrell. My princess is five months today but today Michael's got them. Ever since that day he's been taking my kids everywhere but he's in love with princess now. I bet y'all are probably wondering about nyke? Well after that day he hit Michael... I went over to his house & the bitch he cheated on me with was there so I beat her ass & I cut him in his face. He tried to hit me but didn't know I had michael with me. Ever since that day I haven't seen or talked to him. The kids haven't asked about him which was a surprise because they always asked but now they're just focused on King.

King- "Beybe?" King said walking into my room. No we don't live together. I moved out of lijaah's & got my own place.

Me- "Yes King?" I said laughing while he grabbed me by my waist.

King- "Ya gotta work tonigh' ?" he said kissing my neck.

Me- "No I don't why?" I said pushing his head away.

King- "Juss wonderin' & com'ere we finna talk ma" he said pulling me on the bed. I got nervous but then I thought about it & I haven't did anything wrong so I calmed down but the fact that he said we need to talk & idk what I did is making me back nervous.

Me- "Okaaay... did I do something wrong?" I said looking confused.

King- "Naa beybe I juss wan ta know why ya don' feel comfortable around me?" He said fixing his hat & sitting back on the head board.

Me- "King I do feel comfortable around you because if I didn't trust me boo you would NOT. Be sitting. HERE. With me" I said pointing to my room. He started laughing & I'm still confused.

Lamar- "I know dat lil girl I'm saying like.. ya know I like ya & care bout ya & we been talkin fa bout three months na & ya still ain tryna be mines yet" he said throwing his arms up. I sighed & looked at him.

Me- "King I do care & like you too & I do want to be yours I'm just... im just scared to. Ive been hurt all my life & I don't want to be hurt anymore Lamar. I just want to be happy. I'm tired of lies & cheating & being sad & feeling worthless. I just want ta feel like I'm needed.. I only feel that from my kids so I feel like I shouldn't be in a relationship right now" I said putting my head down because this is a tough conversation.

Lamar- "I undastand completely beybe but naa dat ain all. Ya don' trust nobody nomoe cause everythin' ya went through wit ya ex-nigga ya think Ima fuck up like him & fuck you over & hurt you but I'm not shawty juss gimme a chance" he said leaning forward & kissing me. I kissed him back & pulled away.

"So dats a yes?" He said lifting one of his eyebrows. I looked down then looked back up at him.

Me- "You promise you won't hurt me?" I said looking dead in his eyes.

Lamar- "Shawty I promise I won' hurt ya" he said pecking my lips. I smiled & nodded my head. he smiled big as hell then picked me up.

Me- "What you wanna do since the kids are gone?" I said while he put me down on the couch. He looked at me & raised his eyebrow while smiling. I swear he's so nasty.
