Chapter 12

Aditi's POV

"Adi..." I caught myself before I said it, "Zac?" I opened the door to see him standing there

"You!" He quickly came in and took off his hat, " I am here..."

"The stain isn't..."

    Just then the bathroom door opened, and Michael walked out of the bathroom. Aditya looked at me then at Michael, back to me, and then at Michael's half unbuttoned shirt. Then something happened that I am sure no one saw coming or at least Michael didn't...

"I can't believe you just did that!" I glared at Aditya as I held an ice pack to Michael's cheek where Aditya punched him

"Can you blame me though?" Aditya smiled at me goofily

"Yes, I can! I am your ex and you have no right to this sort of a thing" I rolled my eyes at him

"Still" He smiled apologetically at Michael when I realized something

     There was something off about this whole situation. Aditya was watching Michael very meticulously even though he was smiling which made sense...but so was Michael which was off. Aditya smiled at me...yup something was definitely odd...

"Zac would you like some water?" I asked as I got the hint

"Yes please" Aditya handed me a glass that was by him, sure enough, I noticed Michael watch Aditya's hand

"Here you go" I handed Aditya back the glass, "I will be back" I headed to the bathroom

"Wait, Aditi!" Michael reached for my hand when Aditya caught him

     I ran into the bathroom and locked the door as I heard them crash into the table. I moved away from the door and searched the bathroom to make sure it was safe. I was also looking for a weapon. While I was searching I heard 3 timed knocks...Adi. I opened the door.

"Come on" He put on his hat, and threw a scarf at me

"Where are we going?" I asked as he grabbed my hand, and pulled me out of the room

"Will explain in a few"

"You killed him?" I asked astonished

"Keep walking" He pulled me

"The cameras have seen us"

"Yes but George can handle that" Just then he tripped over the air, but caught himself

"What is wrong with you?" I asked confused at his odd behavior

"Sh!"

  He pulled me into a random room and shut the door. He stood against the door listening before he finally turned to look at me. He walked over to me and checked me for any injuries.

"I am okay" I pushed him away, "Why are you here?"

"Better question, why are you here of all places for a vacation? There are so many other places why this one?" He grabbed my shoulders and asked me

"Adi..." I tried to loosen his grip, but it only got tighter, "Fine" I stopped struggling, "It's cause this is the location of the merger. Dad wanted me to inspect a few minor details, and to make sure everything is working as it should"

"Why you?"

"I am going to start interning at the company when I return. It's my first assignment"

"Hm" He let go of me and walked over to the table in thought

"Why are you here? I thought you were studying in London"
