I learned there are very few people who keep people in their hearts. You can keep someone on your mind but when someone is in your heart, their problems become yours, and their joy and pain yours as well. They will even sacrifice things just to comfort and help you.
It isn't wise to have many friends but it is wise to have such friends. Those are what you call friends. They are people you can call in whatever circumstances and situation because their love and care for you is manifested in their whole being. You can tell the difference between someone caring for you because you've done things for them or they feel they should versus someone who has you in their heart.
You need people who can also keep you in their hearts not just minds.
A great example of this type of relationship is with David and Jonathan or Ruth and Noami. I suggest you search up and take time to read about their relationship and pray for something similar in your life.
