The air was different.

It made Sunwoo ponder, not quite register of how it was possible. Four heads at one table with different things occupying them. It almost seemed like each of them was not even there, only the bodies were.

Sunwoo was there obviously, thinking about the situation and Eric next to him was busy flirting with a girl at the next table in the cafeteria who apparently, was just thinking about how to escape.

Kevin across the boy was occupied with his phone, for what Sunwoo assumed was humming to a Beyonce song - hopefully, he guessed it right because nobody was as obsessed as Kevin, and Juyeon next to him was just breathing.

Ironic how he could be seen as handsome and cool just by breathing.

It left Sunwoo with no choice other than to focus on the older who was hard to read his mind. But the younger was curious, he wanted to know what was in that head. Specifically after the 'run-into-his-ex' earlier.

Carefully, Sunwoo cleared his throat as he leaned forward across the table. "Where is Mihee?"

The question caught Juyeon off guard, he flinched as if he was originally in a deep thought.

"She's with her friend," Juyeon answered, brows knitted. "I guess."

A snort was heard coming out from Kevin's lips, now only the humming stopped. All heads turned in his direction but Kevin was looking straight into Juyeon's eyes.

"You guessed?" He frowned. "You're not even sure about your own girlfriend. You really, have fallen out of love, don't you?"

"Is it 3 days ago that you and Mihee fought?" Eric stared up to the ceiling, recalling.

"Again?" And that was Sunwoo and Kevin, who seemingly shared the same brain cell.

"What is this about this time?" Kevin crossed his arms, not anticipating the answer. Because when it came to Mihee and Juyeon, the fights they always had were always insane.

And it seemed like another insane fight had taken place when Juyeon subtly grimaced, intending it not to be seen but who to blame that his friends were quick in sensing.

"Isn't it about a dog?" Eric spilled the story and he then earned a hit on his arm from Sunwoo and a kick on the leg by Kevin. "Ouch! Easy you two."

"You know everything but are too stingy to share?" Sunwoo was enraged.

"And what about the dog?" Kevin questioned the boy who was then frowning again. Oh, how he was invested to know and decide on what level Mihee's craziness was.

Sighing, Juyeon straightened his tall body, clearing his throat in the process. "She thought dog is cuter than cat which I respect the opinion but I told her I like cat the best."

"And?"

"And that's it."

Small cackles were heard around the table, Sunwoo unknowingly tugged a handful of his hair while Kevin facepalmed himself. This was critical, Mihee was undefinable.

"Chae would never-" Kevin covered his mouth before he could finish his stance. "Oops."

At the mere mention of the surname, everyone seemingly was intrigued but on different subjects.

Eric was interested to know how was Soobin while she was dating the older because, from the short period he talked to the girl, he could only describe her as nice.

Sunwoo was attracted to Juyeon's reaction, that same expression - blank, was back on his face. This face had always been seen whenever they ran into Soobin or if the girl was being a subject in their conversation.
