Chapter 58

Delia's Pov

My eyes widened in surprise to see Ares infront of me, same as well to him. We couldn't even form words from our mouth but I just said what was in my mind "A-ares? Is that really you?" I asked in a soft voice while looking to those green eyes that I missed.

Ares's eyes was filled with tears of happines, he cupped my cheek before smiling so widely in happiness "Delia, My love" He whispered and God, how I miss that voice. I gasped and smiled widely before jumping into his arms.

Making Ares to stumble back but quickly embraced and welcomed me in his arms, tears started to form in my eyes. I feel so much happier inside my heart when i'm in his arms.

"Delia! You don't know how broken and worried I am when I didn't feel you beside me, I feel like I've lost my soul and about that Scarlett. She's already gone and there is no one to disturb our lives anymore, we can go back" He said with joy while holding my hands.

I slowly pulled away as soon as I remembered, hearing Scarlett's name It made me remember everything she has done to me. Pushing my head on the cake and pushing me downstairs then blaming me and then there she was on the bed with Ares. Tears of pain started to form in my eyes as I remembered those bad memories.

Ares noticed the tears in my eyes, his smile faded slowly before he wiped the tears from my cheeks with his thumb "Delia, Are you oka-" I stopped him by pulling myself away from him "Ares, I remember. I remember the way you hurted me" I said while looking down.

He frowned his brows and moved closer to me as soon as he saw me moving away "Delia, whatever I did to you. It was all Scarlett's doings, it wasn't me!" Ares said while holding my hands.

I immediately pulled away from him "You left me in that dark dungeon, hoping you'd come back and apologize but you did not" I whispered hurtly. Ares shook his head and tries to hold my hand to explain "Delia, I did not think of all of those things for you because only a cruel man would deserve to be there" He said while trying to calm me down.

"Ares, I want to rest. Can you let me go?" I asked coldly as my eyes were getting tired but Ares did not see it that way other than me wanting to leave from him. "No, I came to your world just to see and bring you back to my world and now I'm here, I don't want to leave you anymore" He whispered while holding me so tight that I wouldn't move my hands.

I gasped automatically in pain before trying to push him away from me "Ares, Let me go! You are hurting me!" I cried out while struggling to get out of his grip, Ares gripped me even tighter before letting go and his grip went to my waist "Are you seeing someone, Is that why you are acting this way?" He asked while suspiciously watching me.

I widened my eyes and shook my head honestly "I'm not seeing anyone, Ares!" I told him and He didn't believe me as he saw fear in my eyes "I don't see it that way" He said before pulling me closer to him that we almost got our forehead bump.

"Remember, Delia. Wherever you are, in my world or yours. I still own you, You Belong To Me Forever" He said his last words before he smashed his lips onto mine, I widened my eyes in surprise and tries to push him by his chest but he only grabbed those and placed them behind my back while kissing me fiercely.

I can feel myself in need of air, I tried to hit Ares to give him a sign to let me breath but he gripped me even tighter, Lost in his desires. I can feel my eyes getting heavier and I slowly passed out in his arms "DELIA!"

Ares's Pov

After I placed Delia on the couch, William arrived in time as he watched me and Delia together again "Arez, Delia what happened to her" He asked before walking near to Delia's side.

"She passed out in my arms" I told him before twisting the cold cloth before putting it on Delia's head "She must have an headache" I continued and William looked up to me "I found a friend of hers I met earlier, in fact She's on the way here" William told me.

I looked up to him confusedly "Friend of hers?" "Yeah, I met her earlier and she claimed that she knew Delia, Didn't knew there that she was telling the truth" He replied. We both turned our heads to the sound of soft groans from Delia's lips as she woke up slowly.

"Delia-" "Delia! You are awake, Do you still remember me?" William cutted me off while shoving his face infront of her, I pulled him away quickly from her sight "Give her some air and don't lean too much closer to her" I replied angrily before sitting down next to her side.

"Delia, my love. I'm so sorry for forcing you all of this, Please let me make it up for you" I pleaded while holding her cold hands that she immediately pulled it back from her "Please call Jelianna" She whispered while looking away from me.

William was the one to answer "Yes, She is infact coming here so you must rest for a while and wait" He told Delia and She smiled at him kindly before closing her eyes, I was at her side just watching her. She doesn't want to talk to me after I was under Scarlett's potion.

It made a huge hole in my heart to see her not talking to me "Delia! Oh, gosh! Sorry for the disturbance of you both and Thank you for taking care of her" The girl named Jelianna rushed to her side while talking to us. We both nodded "No problem, miss. You can take her home when she wakes up, she is just tired" I replied with a soft smile.

Making Jelianna's heart melted "Oh, Sure sure sir's! Uh but, can I take a picture of you both?" She asked and We knew how she meant since we're used to it for 2 days. "Good good" I replied and both william and I took pictures with her. "Thank You!" She said while squealing lowly for us not to hear but which we still do.

After A few hours, I opened my eyes and woke up from the nap. I checked my surroundings and saw William sleeping with Jelianna on his side before they snore together, My eyes went to where Delia was sleeping but she was nowhere.

My heart pounded in fear and worried, I looked the whole room for her and finally found her on the balcony leaning forward for fresh air. I instantly took a deep breath and walked towards her.

"What a wonderful view, right? I sometimes wonder how did you both became famous for just 2 days" Delia told me while still looking up the view, I chuckled under my breath and leaned on the balcony as well "Now I appreciate my looks because of your people" I replied with a playful smirk, just to make her laugh and I really did.

Oh, how I missed that laugh and smile "I miss you, Delia. Come back to me" I whispered, only to receive a silence from the air before she replied after a few minutes "I don't know what to do anymore, ares" She replied back.

I turned to her and held her hands while shaking my head "Neither do I, my love but we only need to trust one another" I told her, She looked up to me and whispered "You already lost my trust, Ares. Tell me how can I able to trust you again?" She asked while looking me in the eyes.

My eyes shifted up to the view infront of us before sighing "I dont know anymore but I love you" I replied while tears streaming down my cheeks, I felt Delia's fragile hands held my cheek as she let me look at her "I loved you but It's all gone now" She whispered the last word, making my heart crumble to pieces.

I understood her but I suddenly felt the urge to hold her in my arms again, I nodded my head "I understand, my love but just remember that I am always here beside you when you need me" I replied before cupping her cheeks and was about to kiss her last time but she pulled away "I'm gonna wake them up" She whispered before turning around and left me alone the balcony.
