Chapter 46

Delia's Pov

"This is madness!" King Merlin said with anger "This woman isn't even from a royal family! She is such a disgrace to be part of your royal blood lines from your royal ancestors!" He said while pointing right at me.

Ares pushed his hand away from me while glaring at him "Don't you ever point Delia with your dirty fingers" He said angrily. King Merlin moved away before looking to the both of us "huh, now look at your very own soon to be king son is now talking back to an older king, This is because of this woman!" King Merlin said while pointing at me again.

I moved away quickly but Ares kept me in place before taking out his gun out and aiming it infront of him "Ares! c'est assez! (That's enough)" King Charles said, Ares slowly put back his gun in his pocket.

They've been fighting because of me and I need to do anything to stop this madness, I was about to speak up when Scarlett pointed me "You! Did you poisoned Ares to make him fall in love with you?!" She asked with wide eyes.

I shake my head quickly "No! I did not!" King Merlin shook his head "That is not what we see, worthless woman! You poisoned our Prince!" He said loudly. Making servants and guards to hear him.

Scarlett closed her fist before she went up to me and grabbed my hair, making me yelp in pain "tu es une sorcière! (You are a witch)" She screamed loudly. I tried pushing her away from me when she kept grabbing my hair, making me to grab her hair back.

Ares and the King immediately went to us to stop her "Stop! Let her go!" Ares said angrily while pushing Scarlett to the floor "You-!!" King Merlin was about to punch Ares when King Charles said loudly "STOP!!"

Ares held me tightly, making me kept in his arms while holding me protectively "King Charles! My friend.. Now you know your son's behavior changed because of this woman. Will you just let it continue? Now answer, who will you want your son to be with?" King Merlin asked while looking at him seriously.

King Charles looked the both of us before his eyes went back to Scarlett "I want a fair one. I want you both to show me that you are the rightful Queen for this Kingdom!" He said with strong voice, I can feel my heart beat faster. I don't even know how to eat like a proper Queen do, then how can I even win this?

I can feel Ares calming me by caressing my arms gently "But fathe-" Ares was about to speak but his father cutted him off "I don't need to hear another word from you, young man. You've done enough today" He said and Ares was glaring back at the other King and Scarlett.

"Let's go, Delia" He whispered before taking my hand as he dragged me with him upstairs, once we arrived in his room he locked the door before facing me. "Delia, I don't want this happen. I promise I didn't want any of this" He said while holding my hand.

I looked down before nodding my head "I know, I don't even know how to act like a proper lady then there is no possibility of winning this" I replied, Ares shook his head before cupping my cheeks "You win or not, I will never marry any woman but you" He said, I felt a blush before my heart starts to beat like drums.

"Ares, You don't have to force your King. He is still your Father, If I lose then accept it and marry the right one to handle this kingdo-" Ares cutted my sentence by pressing his lips against mine, I froze in place in surprise.

After a couple of moments, He pulled away before looking into my eyes lovingly "No one will ever replace you in my heart" he whispered, Now I look like a tomato but I didn't mind as I can feel how ares truly loved me. "I will never love anyone but you, Even if I have to force my own Father for this then I would. I can't stand marrying someone I dont love while the one I love is in another man's arms, Trust me. I won't let it happen" He said before wrapping my waist with his arms.

I couldn't keep my eyes off him, My lips can't even form any words without realizing. My eyes were glistening making Ares to pull me closer before kissing me again, I didn't waste any time and kissed him back. He kept kissing me nonstop until I was out of air yet he didn't even let me pull away.

I gasped against his lips and my hand placed against his chest, instead of pulling away from me. His kisses went down my neck "God, I love you. I love you" Ares kept chanting those words, making me shiver. I closed my eyes while holding on him "You make me feel so loved whenever you response to my kisses" He whispered against my skin.

My eyes slowly opens as soon as I realised that I am enjoying his kisses when I was about to pull away, instead he pulled me closer "Don't pretend nothing happened, I see it in my own eyes how you reacted to my touches, darling" He whispered against my ear hotly.

I shivered and looked away with a red cheek, afraid if he'd continue. Ares chuckled "I always yearn for you, Delia but I am still taught to be a proper gentleman. I won't take you without your consent" He said before pecking my forehead.

"Now sleep, my love. It's been a long day, I don't want you think any of this problems again" Ares whispered while gently carrying me to his king bed before covering me with the big blankets, I was about to sleep out of cozy when Ares lay down beside me before pulling me into his arms.

Ares hummed a song while putting my head on his chest, feeling his hearbeat. Slowly I drifted to sleep with Ares kissing my forehead in every minute.

Scarlett's Pov

I watched Ares and Delia snuggling into each other while sleeping together in one bed, I feel jealousy wash over me. I should be the one in her place, not Delia! Clenching my fist, I stomped my feet on the floor angrily before storming out of the hallway and made it to my room.

I need to do something, I can't just stand up and do nothing! I breathed heavily while entering my room. I need something but what? I looked to my shelves before throwing all the books on the floor like a mad woman.

Reading all the titles before throwing them from my sight and when one book caught my eye, I slowly took it in my hand before reading it 'Magic Flowers'  My fingers slowly made it way to the side pages before opening the book.

Reading the pages one by one, it was all about the types of flowers. There's a yellow flower named Jilproix, a flower that if someone smells it. They will act crazy before slowly dying. My eyes scanned the whole descriptions of it before flipping to the other pages.

I stopped to the flower, It was a beautiful yet simple flower. I looked down and read all the meanings and what it will do, After I read it all. My eyes widened in shock, There is this kind of flower?

My eyes focused the words carefully while my hands caressed the words written 'Araucária ptarmica, A simple flower but can change the whole history. The smell of this flower is so addictive that many men can be attract to anyone they sees'  Then my mind went to Ares, A smirk found in my lips.

"Jenna? I need you to get many mens to find this flower" I said before showing her a small portrait of Araucária Ptarmica flower. "Y-Yes, Your Highness" She before bowing down and took the small portrait to her hand.

I stood up before standing up infront of the glassy window "Now, you will be mine Ares. I can order anyone to kill that woman as soon as you are under this flower's power" I said before laughing by myself in the whole night.
