Third Person's POV:

The Chief did a little inquiry with Mr. Kowit before following him to meet Pete at the hospital. In meantime, Zee arrived at the head quarters with the lawyer to bail out his father but there was no way that the cops could allow Decha to be released since the investigation was not over and releasing him would have resulted into a threat for Pete. As a result, he was detained into custody.

The Chief arrived at the hospital with the other cop and they walked straight to the room where Pete was admitted. The poor lad was asleep and there was another boy sitting beside him. "Ae, the cops are here." Kowit informed and Ae immediately left his seat allowing the cops to investigate.

Just in time, the doctor walked in for check-up. The chief inquired about Pete's condition and the doctor assured him that he was fine. He was unconscious because of the drug that was injected into him but he was completely fine and out of danger. There were some bruises on his body which only he could explain how he got them.

Slowly Pete regained consciousness and opened his eyes, he looked around and noticed the white ceiling. He blinked his eyes few times since the bright light was affecting his vision and then, he tilted his head to look at the people who were standing beside his bed. "Pete!" Ae and Phat called together while stepping forward and looking at the person. Phat held Pete's face while Ae held his hand. "Are you alright?" Ae asked out of concern.

"A-Ae?? Am I dreaming??? Is it really you?" Pete asked in disbelief. He was still feeling like he was dreaming and he might just wake up and find the darkness around which he felt earlier.

He can see Ae and phi in front of him but he was concerned whether it was reality or a dream. He remembered the last time when he saw Phat, that time he was trying to stop Decha from taking Pete away. "Bunny... You are not dreaming. We are here. You are safe." Phat assured. Pete felt the tears streaming down from his eyes when he heard the word 'safe'. He hugged his brother and began to cry.

"I am scared phi.... I am scared. Please tell por not to lock me away. I will listen to everything he says." Pete pleaded. Even the Chief felt his heart break when he saw the way the lad clung to his brother while pleading. "Bunny, you are safe... por will not be able to harm you henceforth. Everything is fine and you are safe." Phat assured.

"Is it alright if we ask him a few questions?" The Chief asked while examining Pete carefully. "Bunny, the cops wants to ask you something. Just tell them what happened." Phat explained. "But why?" Pete asked curiously, he wanted to know why the cops were here but more importantly why he was at hospital and what happened while he was asleep.

"It's nothing to worry about. Just tell the cops what happened and the rest, we will take care of it." Phat assured. Pete knew that his brother will never betray his trust so he agreed and the Chief stepped forward to ask the questions.

Meanwhile, everyone was asked to stay out of the room while the Chief interrogated Pete. The lad told him everything that happened before he went unconscious. It made one thing clear that Decha was actually the person who had planned all of this but what remained as mystery was how Pete was able to escape from the kidnappers.

The Chief stepped out of the room and soon everyone was rushing in to check on Pete. "Mr. Kowit, as per Pete's statement, it is clear that his father was the one who is involved in this plan. But I want to know how he was able to escape." The Chief spoke out his curiosity. "You should thank my son for it because he is the one who saved Pete." Mr. Kowit cleared. "So, he knows what happened? I would like to talk to him." The Chief said.

Ae nodded right away and narrated his part of the story. "I and Pete have been on a small picnic after returning from trip. Yesterday, I dropped him home before proceeding to return. When I was pulling out my luggage, I realized that Pete had left his bag in my car. So I thought of returning it. I asked the servants to carry my luggage inside the house and I decided that I should head back to return the bag to Pete. It took me a while because of traffic and that was the main reason that I got delayed. When I reached to Pete's place I saw Pete's father and other two people dragging Pete out of the house to the car parked outside. Earlier I thought that Pete must have went unconscious but then I noticed his brother and mother pleading to Pete's father to let him go. I felt something suspicious and decided of following the car. I was maintaining the safe distance as I trailed behind them. They drove out of the city and were headed to the woods. It got me worried that something bad must have happened. So I wasted no time and tried to call my father but since I was out of city, there was network and I was not able to contact them. And the condition was such that I couldn't leave them and return back since I didn't know what they were up to."
