Y/N's POV:

I woke up to a soft pair of hands wrapped around me, tracing shapes on my arms. I open my eyes slowly, glancing up to see Jenna holding me on top of her. She was watching tv while holding me.

"How'd you sleep?" She asked, startling me a little as she turned her gaze from the tv to look at me. Her hand reaching up to caress my cheek, I instinctively leaned into her palm.

"Good." I mumbled quietly, closing my eyes. "Why did you help me?" She freezes, but slowly relaxes as she takes a deep breath.

"Because everyone deserves to live, you're just hurting." I let her talk, because deep down I knew she was right. "I want to be the one to help you. If you'll let me."

I thought about her offer, looking into her eyes to be met with determination. I was hesitant, but I was starting to like this girl. She saved me, and now I'm curious as to see how she'll help me further.

"How?" I gave in, watching a small smile take place on her lips.

"If it's okay with you, I want to help you get therapy." She said slowly, I didn't like therapists but I trust her.

"Okay." I nodded, watching her let out a sigh of relief. Our eyes met, and for some reason, it felt like fireworks exploded in my heart. My cheeks heated up while the butterflies in my stomach returned. She glanced down at my lips, me mirroring her actions before taking the first step in leaning up to kiss her softly.

Her lips were soft, and tasted like strawberries. Our movements were slow, taking our time to savor every moment, not daring to take anything too fast. Slowly we pulled away when air became an issue, resting our foreheads together.

"I like you." She whispered making me open my eyes and look at her. "These past couple days, I've started feeling things for you, have you?"

"Yes." I answer. "I want this, I like you too. Can-can we take it slow?" I asked nervously.

"I'd love to." She smiled that gorgeous smile, pecking my lips softly which made me smile a genuine smile.

-

I was smiling like an idiot as I put my shoes on. Today, me and Jenna were going on a date. It was our second date and I was already starting to like her more and more. She helped me get a therapist who actually cared, which made things easier for me to talk to her.

I opened the door and she stood outside, leaning against the wall, with flowers in her hand and a smile.

"Well don't you look amazing?" She kissed my cheek, I blushed taking the flowers from her hand. "You ready?"

"So ready." I giggled, shutting the door behind me as she wrapped an arm around my shoulders, pulling me close to her as we walked.

-

"Can I have a taste?" Jenna asked as we were both laughing, eating ice cream and walking along the pier. I grabbed a spoonful of my ice cream, holding it up to her as she took a taste, I giggled the whole time.

"Mh delicious." She chuckled, licking her lips. I giggled as she held me close with a smile. We continued eating our ice cream, tossing them away when we finished.

We stood on the edge of the pier, I leaned against the railing, taking in the view. I felt Jenna's hands wrap around my waist from behind, resting her chin on my shoulder. I titled my head back to lean against her neck, the breeze blowing against us gently as we embraced.

I felt chills as the breeze kicked up, sending shivers down my spine. Suddenly, I felt a warm jacket put over my shoulders and arms, I turned around to see Jenna without her jacket on, leaning against the railing as she looked at me with a smile.

"Thank you." I smiled back, pulling it completely on as she took my hand.

We walked home together, just enjoying the moment together before we stopped in front of my door. I hesitantly reached for the door knob, before turning around and kissing her with passion.

Her hands flew around my waist as she held me closer, savoring every moment. We haven't kissed since that night, but this felt so right.

"I'll see you tomorrow." I whisper on her lips, her eyes sparkling as we pulled away. She leaned her shoulder against the wall, watching me open the door, walking in with her jacket still on.
