-We get back to Hilltop Kelly is still really upset and rightfully so. We don't know if Connie and Magna are even alive. We can only hope for the best at this point.
-As soon as the gate is opened Maya greets me with the biggest hug.
-"I missed you sweetheart." I say and kiss the top of her head and notice Maya is wearing Carl's flannel, the sleeves rolled up because the shirt is a bit big on her.
-"You alright." Alden says, noticing the dirt and blood on me.
-"We ran into a bit of a problem out there." I say.
-"Happy birthday mom." Maya says in hopes to lighten things up a bit.
-"That is today isn't it." I say.
-"Good thing you all came back, we were about to send out search teams." Yumiko says walking over and gives Kelly a hug.
-"Where's Connie and Magna?" Yumiko asks.
-"You should ask Carol." I say and immediately regret saying it. Yes, what happened was Carol's fault but Alpha killed her son. I would wanna do the same thing if I was in Carol's shoes.

-August 29th 4381 days since the start.
-I wake to Adam crying in his pack and play.
-"Hey it's okay." I say, trying to console him. He finally stops crying after a few minutes.
-"He stops crying whenever he sees your beautiful face." Alden says groggy from just waking up.
-"Sorry for waking you, I was trying not to." I say because him and Earl have been working late to get all the weapons ready for when the whisperers attack. That's also why I have Adam, so Earl can get some sleep.
-"Its okay I gotta get up and start working anyways. Hey buddy." He says a russells Adams hair.
-I put Adam back in his pack and play so he can sleep more.
-Aldens just sitting on our bed staring at me.
-"Why are you staring at me like that?" I say and laugh a bit.
-"You're just so good with him." Alden says.
-"I might have a bit of practice." I say.
-"I know I've actually been wondering for a while now. Do you want more kids?"
-"I haven't really thought about it too much. Do you want kids?" I say.
-"Yeah I do. I know it sounds crazy with how things are with the whisperers and walkers, but I just do especially with you. I just really love you."
