April linked arms with me again and we made our way to the door. She slowly opened it and peeked out. I watched her head move from left to right. She pulled herself back in and nodded to me.

The door opened more and we stepped out. It was cold. Why was I always so cold? I shuddered at the feeling of my injuries and hugged myself with my free arm.

If I remember correctly, Donnie's room is across from the lab. I looked back and saw that the lab was next to the med bay. I looked back forward. Purple lights seeped through the gap in the door.

April let go of my arm and looked back at the lab. We could hear welding and clashes of metal. "Okay. Go." I opened the door and stepped in. She came in after and gently closed it.

She faced me and let out a sigh. "Why did we go incognito?" She looked up at me. "I uh..." she tapped her fingers together. "You aunt suppose to be out yet... hehe."

I put a hand on my hip and shifted my weight to one foot. "Really, April?" Her giggle faded and sweat dropped past her glasses.

She clears her throat and turns me around. She let go of my shoulders and moved aside. There were neatly folded clothes in a corner. "Holy shit, April. I didn't expect you to buy the lot."

I carefully made my way to the clothes and looked through them. She joins me and shrugged. "I went back after we got you and they were still there."

I laughed as I held a shirt to my chest. "I don't remember this one..." she nodded. "Donnie picked it out." 'Donnie went with her?'

I pulled it away and looked at it. It was a semi-long sleeve shirt. Purple, of course. With a ribcage design printed on it. I never tried purple.

I hummed and tossed it on my arm. I searched for a pair of pants that I could wear. April seemed to notice and started searching as well.

My legs began to ache more by the second. I slowly lowered myself onto the cold floor and continued looking. April joined me. "Aha! I knew these were still around here somewhere!"

She help up a pair of pants that she and I were gushing about in the store. I smiled at her and took them. I stood up, nearly falling over, and made my way to the door.

April ran up to me. "Woah, gurl. Where you goin'?" I rolled my eyes. "Unless you want me walkin' around with my tits hanging out, I need a bra... maybe the other stuff too." She put her hands up. "Okay, okay. You stay here and I'll go grab your bag."

I nodded and she left the room. I realised that I had emptied my bag in front of everyone. My whole bag. Not only did it have my tech, but it also had my clothes. If I pulled out my clothes then I... 'Fuuucckkk.'

I slid down the wall next to the door in pure embarrassment. I felt my cheeks get hot. 'I took out my undergarments in front of them all.' I put the clothes on the floor and rubbed my face. 'Why did I do that? Why did I do that? Why did I do that?'

The door creaked open. I stood up. "April. Thank the gods! I fucked up so-" "Y/n?" I looked up. 'Not April.' I covered my mouth. "Donnie?" I peeped.

He looked out the door and then back at me several times. "I- you... You are supposed to be resting!" I stepped back as he stepped in. He pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. "What are you doing here?"

I gave a nervous smile and looked back at the pile of clothes in his room. "April wanted me to try on clothes...?"

"You sound uncertain." I crossed my arms and leaned to the side. 'She is in no condition to be up yet. I still need to talk to them.'

They let out a dry chuckle and pick at the bandage on her neck. "So... what brings you here?" 'Are you kidding me?' I pointed lazily at the room. "This is my bedroom."

She looks back. "That it is." They sigh. "Y/n. I need you to go back to the med bay." She raised a brow almost like... amusement? "Make me." My eye twitched. "Y/n, I am not dealing with this right now."

They ripped their eyes from me and moved back to the pile of clothes that were in my room. "Then no." She spun on her heel and sat on the floor. "I'm not going ba-" "Y/n! Got your stuuuhff hey Donnie!"

It was April. I turned around and looked down at her. My foot is tapping on the floor. She had Y/ns bag in her hands. She looked down at the bag and then back at me. "Y/n! Catch!"

The bag flew past my head and landed on the floor sliding to Y/n. They held it close to themselves and gave me a shit-eating grin. 'They've been spending too much time with Leo.'

April stepped past me and to Y/n. "Hey! Ughh." I walk over to the two. April throws a hand over my shoulder. "Come on, Don. She's just gonna get changed outta that gown."

I rolled my eyes and moved her arm. "Just get changed then come back to the med bay. April contact your mother." I turned and heard April mimic me. Y/n laughed. And, oh how it sounds heavenly.

A smile creeps on my face as I close the door. The past four days have been... interesting.

I picked up the limp body. Raph barged open the door. Leo and Mikey joined him taking down anyone who got in our way. Splinter was on my shoulders watching over Y/n. April held their hand that was dangling off the side of my arms.

We barged through the doors and ran to the alley next to the building. Leo opened a portal and ran in. We all followed. My heart was racing my mind.

Mikey opened the door and I sprinted in. I placed them down on the bed and searched for a pulse. Splinter jumped off me and pushed me away lightly.

I stepped back and rubbed my neck. "She is breathing but barely. The pulse is weak." 'This is the second time I'm nearly letting them die.' I watch as my father cares for their health.

I step closer. "Purple. Help me with the jacket." I snapped out and leaned down. I pulled the cloth off of her shoulders and take it from under them. I throw it on the floor.

April and Mikey gasp. I look back. Her arms were completely covered in scars. "Sheldon." My robotic son flies to me. I walk to a drawer and pull out a medical gown. I hand it to him. "Change them."

He hovered down and uses a hook to take the cloth. We both speed back to the bed. I clear the room and close the door. 'I'm not letting them die.'
