Your pov
Gypsy had crawled onto my lap and fallen asleep. Mikey ran back from the corned catching his breath. "I checked... every entry... and exit close... by and found... nothing." He managed to say. I smiled and looked down at the cat. "Well, looks like you're stuck with us, Gypsy." I ruffled the fur on his back.

I stood up with Gypsy in my arms. "Let's head back now. The others are probably waiting for us." Mikey nodded. We began our walk. There was a silent ringtone coming from Mike's phone.

He pulled it out of a small pocket on his sash and answered without reading the name. "Yello-" "Do you have any idea how far from the lair you've gone." I could hear the voice yell and Mikey pulled the speaker away from his ear.

I snatched it from him and put it on the loudspeaker. I read the name. 'Raph.' I nodded and Mikey, telling him to answer. "Uh... yes. We told Don tho!" Donnie's voice was heard from a distance away before he came closer. "What?" Mikey asked.

There was an audible groan from the other line. "I conclude with Raph. I told you not to!" I rolled my eyes and groaned. "Look in the cameras, dickwad!" I yelled back. There was shuffling and the sound of doors.

I pulled Mikey to the closest one and whispered to him to flip it off. He smiled and did so. There was a gasp. "Mikey! You put that away!" He pulled his hand down. I stepped closer to the wall. I looked at the camera but spoke into the phone. "Relax, big guy. He's doin' it for me."

There was bickering and stuttering words from behind the phone. "Why though?!" His voice echoed through the sewer system. "My hands are full." I uncovered the fluff ball in my arm and shook the device that was in the other. "Cool! Y/n has a cat now!"

The two hot-headed brothers yelled Leo's name in unison. "What?" I could hear Donnie staring Leo down. "Y/n you can't just take in strays-" "And why not?" Donnie began to stumble and hiccup on his reasoning. "Exactly." I hung up and put the phone in Mikey's hands.

I spun on my heel and walked off. "C'mon, Miguel." He ran up beside me and held up his fist. I smile and bumped it with mine. We both laughed as we made our way back.

Gypsy moved around in my arms. I bought my free one and let it rest below my other for more support. "So, what'd you name them?" I looked at him. "His name is Gypsy." Mikey laughed. "Why?" I shrugged. "I dunno. He's a black cat left alone as an outcast. It was either that or Batman."

We arrived at the entryway again and saw Raph and Donnie standing there blocking it. "Oh, boy..." Mikey whimpered. I pat him on the back and stepped in front of him. "Is there a problem? We'd like to get Gypsy nice and fresh." Raph flinched. "Wha- Gypsy? You named it already?"

I put a hand on my hip and nodded. "Okay is no one going to acknowledge the fact that Y/n is talking perfectly fine right now?" April said as she pushed the two out of the way and jumped to stand next to us. "If anything, this cat is the reason she's like this. If they didn't leave then who knows how long it would've taken?"

Raph growled and Donnie's eye twitched. Leo barged between the two and ran straight for my arms. He skidded to a stop and looked down at the small cat that I held. "Awwww!" He and April drew their attention to the ball. I smirked up at the two barricade figures.

Raph sighed and walked off. I looked at Donnie. His eyes were somewhat drawn to the small creature in my arms as well. 'Does he... like cats?' I grin at his face and tilt my head a little. "If you wanna come to see him you can Donnie."

He snapped out of his gaze and looked at me. He jumped off the ledge and carefully made his way to the sleeping feline. He looked down at him and raised a hand. He hesitated on touching Gypsy. I rolled my eyes and took his hand in my own and placed it gently on the kitten.

He seemed to catch a shiver down his spine- er... shell as he did so. I let out a slight giggle before letting go of his hand so he could move it freely. He pets Gypst between the ears with one of his three fingers. Gypsy started to purr. Mikey and Leo chuckled. "He liked you." We both looked at Mikey.

Leo had a smirk spread across his face with his arms crossed while Mikey had his hands to his face in awe. "Wow, Donnie. I didn't know you liked animals." April laughed. Donnie looked at her still petting Gypsy. "Scoff, you know I do have other interests, April?"

She just smiled and shook her head. "No, I didn't. You never said anything about animals." She sassed. He looked back at the black cat. "Well, I particularly like cats. Dogs are too much." Mikey and Leo gasped. "How could you?! Betrayed by my own twin." Leo put a hand to his head and fell into Mikey's arms.

I smiled and shook my head. I looked down at Gypsy. He was slowly melting into Donnie's hands as he scratched the bottom of his chin. "Mikey is right though. He does like you." I remarked. He looked down to him and I swear I saw a glimpse of pure happiness.

I looked up to the entrench and sighed. "We need to get him cleaned up. He has a wound on his eye. Maybe you can get it cleaned up for him later." He moved his hand to his face and coughed. "Of course."

We all jumped up into the lair and made our way to the kitchen. I softly woke Gypsy up and put him in the dry sink. I separated some of his furs and found crawling bugs. I took my hands away and gagged. "Fleas."
